What i showed is the standard zig zag method that is written in all the chess books. And every move was a check so your comment didn’t specify anything

You did it the long way. There's a shorter path to b1 check to get the rook. It's better to first move Q to d4. If King to A8, Q to a1 then K to b8, Q to b1. If King to b8, Q to e5 forces king to a7 or a8 (King to c8 would be Q to e8 mate). Then Q to a1, king to b8, Q to b1
Finally, someone saying something sensible. I saw 1... Qh4+ 2. Kg1 Qd4+ 3. Kh1 (or Kh2) Qh8+ 4. Kg1 (4. Rh2 Qa1#) Qg8+ and 5... Qxa2. It's 2 moves shorter, but the zigzag manoeuvre is more intuitive, so both are good elough. The only reason I thought of that kind of move was because when the king is stuck in a corner, there is that kind of manoeuvre, but now I remember it's earlier, triangulation to force the rook to get away from the king.
