- Golden Son by Pierce Brown is the second book in the epic sci-fi Red Rising series. In this Golden Son book recap, we'll be heading into one of the most intense books I've read in a looooong time.
In Golden Son, the world of Darrow expands so much - we get to see a lot of the politics of the world, which also means we get to see the families interact. One thing I loved about this story is that you can feel how much history these people have with one another, and it really adds a layer to the world that we don't see in many fictional societies.
I would love to know what parts of Golden Son you liked the most.
I've already read Morning Star as of writing this (OH MY GOSH Y'ALL), so that book review will be coming soon!

As I come across others thoughts on this series. A lot of people don't like Mustang. I finished book 3. Still not the biggest fan.
