    HI....do you have any idea who might have aftermarket cooling fans that are cheaper than the $500 factory fan? That seems ridiculously high!

    HOW ABOUT SOME AUDIO???

  • @latinobazaar

    I found a 2008 Burgman 650 for $700 (14K miles). The seller was told the CVT belt needed changing. After watching this video and reading all the comments (mainly the comment where the person talked about slipping once warmed up) I realized only the clutch was bad. I changed the clutch components and now the 650 rides like it should.
    My question now is what caused the clutch to go bad with so little miles?

    • @LeDude00
      @LeDude00  Před 3 lety

      most common cause is the improper use of an oil with friction modifiers

    My 650 runs good when cold, but when it warms up it’s slips, is this clutch or Cvt problem?

    • @LeDude00
      @LeDude00  Před 5 lety +1

      there is a good chance that it is clutch related, a lot easier to check than the CVT
      if the wrong oil was used you may have some bad plates that need replacing.
      if the slipping worsens as the oil warms up there is a good chance that it is the clutch

    I ride a Burgman 650 for 7 years now, I love your videos and learned a lot. Now I have two questions. In general, why don't you you use sound, and specific: where does the oil in the clutch house come from, do you need to change it and how is it done, or is it somehow connected with the engine oil reservoir?

  • @Deanzsyclone
    @Deanzsyclone Před 5 lety +1

    typically how many miles until clutch needs rebuilding???

    • @LeDude00
      @LeDude00  Před 5 lety

      depends on how you ride the scoot. Mostly people use the wrong kind of oil which requires a rebuild.
      I did mine because I was having CVT issues, and wanted to eliminate the clutch as a possible source.

    Hi sir
    Does the Burgmann 650 bike engine work when the battery is disconnected?

    • @LeDude00
      @LeDude00  Před 3 lety

      you need a working battery to properly operate the 650

      Odley enough it will not run if your remove a battery terminal while they motor is running. It will stop. Not enough amps from stator.

    Why did you bag and tag the worn clutch plates. The Steel plates I understand, if they are not Scar'd-up they can be re-used. But The clutch wear plates are just going to be discarded, so why bag-um?

    Hi! Really liked the video. I have a metalic kind of noise even when the bike is on idle that gets louder has soon we accelerate. This is a short video of it czcams.com/users/shortsvSjkz8DFqWE?feature=share . Do you think is the clutch? The noise appears to come from there but it is ratling sound . Maybe a bearing?
