Totally agree with you about keeping appliances off the counter. I don't use my dish washer because I live alone so I don't use enough dishes quick enough to make using it practical. Instead I store my toaster in there! It seems random but it totally works.

That’s right!! As long as we do our best (and that can change day to day) then we need to relax a bit. And what is best for us may be different for someone else. It is not a moral failing to have a messy or cluttered house. We are all literally just trying to do our best in this world. Don’t forget that you are so loved.

We went to a vacation house that had every shelf labeled with a picture on the door of what the items were. It seemed a little over the top, but by the end of the week it was great to always know where things were no matter who unloaded the dishwasher.

As long as we’re kind and firm, we’re doing what we can to keep our boundaries in place and not hurting anyone’s feelings.
Well done. I think this is such a hard lesson for women. I have a friend on this journey and it's so hard for her. I just remind myself that it's my job to protect my boundaries and that nobody else can do it on my behalf. A gentle no is sufficient. No explanations needed.
Creating empty space in any area of your home or life gives you room to breathe. Great job. Love the idea of putting prescription meds in a secure closed container. Have to try it.

🙏 Please don't apologize for prescription safety it's a big thing. The fact that you keep an eye on your prescription and you keep it away from people who should not have access to them is a good thing. A lot of kids start getting into self medication due to easy access to prescription medication so it is very good that your aware of what you have.🖤
I love your system. I have a system for under my kitchen and bathroom sinks. I use the Mainstays multipurpose bins and they work perfectly. I have a system for the shelf that I use for food storage. I find that I prefer clear storage bins. I am definitely visual when it comes to organization.

For meds or vitamins that are used daily instead of having to get out each container you can get weekly or monthly med boxes that you put in for each day and it's there for you when needed

Agree about Corningware, with arthritis and shoulder problems, we gave away our heavy stoneware and switched to the lighter weight dishes and also got rid of heavy glasses and replaced them with acrylic. My biggest issue is a very small kitchen with very few cabinets and counter space.
You inspire me more than I can express. I didn't have a lot as a child so letting go of "things" is very challenging for me. I have heard you mention something similar but I'm a firm believer in recovery in baby steps. I could have never decluttered that cup and I have 3 Stanley cups too. 😂 Never apologize for hugging yourself, that's important 😘 I look forward to watching each of your videos ❤️.

Hi I like your channel and keep coming back to it when I have time. Even though there is only my husband and me in the home now I find that decluttering really never comes to an end. Just when I think 'That's it' I still find areas where I am hording a few things an then I'm off the the charity shop with them in yet another trip. I feel like I would like to step into your channel and say 'Can I help' as you have mentioned being overwhelmed several times and that is not a nice feeling. I think the old saying 'A woman's work is never done' is still true!

OMG I dont know where they all went (the black hole in space lol??) but How in the hell did I end up with so many miss-matched tupperware bowls and lids lol... I felt so relieved and accomplished when I decluttered my plastics!! I felt like I unloaded a weight holding my kitchen back lol. Thanks for the inspiration and motivation. Our goodwill here is so overpriced. It makes me really frustrated. The Salvation Army that is local always have some pretty good deals. But I personally love a hospice thrift store the most.

I don’t use instagram anymore for some reason it seems to show me animals in distress all the time and that’s one thing my mind can not handle. So it was a shock at first. The process worked extremely well on Lisa’s sister, so much so she stopped wearing makeup. Just one last thing , the before and afters are always so good, you worked hard girl xxx Take care and God bless x

I love my white corningware. We have several kids( who bring home friends) so we use a ton of dishes. Twenty dinner plates stack only 4 inches high.
It's good to get rid of things you don't use, need, want. Feels so good passing items on to others who can use them.
It is what I hold onto when it’s hard to let things go!
