It's the legacy from pre-94 in the bush war. The pre-94 goverment invested a lot in arm manufactuerers espeically mine resistant vehicles due to the nature of the Bush War using a lot of land mines. The USA even bought some of SOuth Africa vehciles to help out in Afganistan and Iraq.
Only problem is the current corrupt goverment sells the patent of some of these vehicles to the Gupta's for next to nothing.
South Africa is the 15th largest military exporter in the world
But unfortunately for the international markets. Not for the local market.

Yup. The distorting pictures made me feel queezy. The picture effects kind of ruined some of the pictures.
I don't think they film these themselves. This looks more like finding pre-filmed video of the vehicles that they assemble in a video. not their fault that there are only that many videos about something.
My favourites: Mbombe 4 and Milkor 4X4. Looked at them at the military show in Pretoria. Loved them.
Camera work and editing reminds me of the Banana Splits kids TV show.

@@amoun5062 I don't mean to dismiss past policy that I'm not sure the average soldier drafted, but my hope is that the future of the military is more consistent with plenty of positive social missions they already engage in.
Hopefully the rest of the world can understand soldiers don't write the policy objectives. Would love to see that a change a bit.

I like the Mbombe 4 from paramount. There should sub classes for these 4x4 APC. Short patrol, medium patrol, long patrol/convoy. another subclass 15 Tons and lesser 4x4 armored vehicles to 15 tons and above 4x4 armored vehicles. Add in logistics for said vehicles as well which adds more vehicles per platoon or company. I watched a youtube video. Of the French doing military convoys out in the Mali desert. An there APC's/logistic trucks feel apart in less than 5 days.

If there is something that gives me the horrygorries it is when the producer of the combos of videos do it in such a way that you cant really get an idea how the vehicle really looks like because of the quick switch over to other scenarios and the computer photoshop to make it look cool. No like from my side!! Not to mention the lack of relevant info.
Because maybe they are army vehicles and you really SHOULDN'T know what they look like in detail? In case you are a foreigner planning to counter these vehicles.

Patriot II one of the best MRAP in this class, Stanag level 4 against 14.5mm KPVT machine gun and 8 kg TNT blast +Tatra chassis do to this MRAP enormous off road mobility and suspension durability, this is my dream car for everyday, they also sell this MRAP for civilian use too, if you have money you can buy this thing, and all other members of road traffic will be in terror

I'd be curious to know these vehicles' width? I WW2 in the Boccage Country with hig banks and hedges there were some vehicles that found operating in that environment quite difficult. Ok there are ways around that problem but it still puzzles me why little though is given to Weight, width and length .

you forgot to mention the Australian built Busmaster and Hawkei vehicles. Australia has produced 1200 bushmasters that were sold to the Dutch. British MOD, Japan Defence force and Fiji. The Bushmaster is a proven vehicle in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. From the request of the Ukrarine President Australia is giving Ukraine 20 Bushmaster vehicles.
Go to show how good these vehicles are when they are requested above other countries vehicles.
