I was very much expecting a jumpscare at the end, and lowered my volumne in anticipation, so I legit got caught off guard when there wasn't a jumpscare after all. This story is proof that not all horror stories need jumpscares and loud noises to scare the audience. Great job.
The scariest thing to happen to me was when I was nine. I was playing with the blinds Shawn I looked out the window to see a man with a blue face starring at me straight at me not blinking just starring and closed the blinds to open them again when only to see he wasn’t there.
I saw a red hand come out of a door at midnight. But I noticed it and the hand slowly retreated. This ain’t a joke or some dumb thing to scare this literally happened
I remember something similar like this, I was 10 at the time and was staying up as usual and I was playing games on the computer, and as soon as I put my eyes on the computer, I saw something looking into the window, starring at me, as soon as i looked at the window it disappeared, I ran into my bedroom crying and my dad called the cops, and as you would expect the cops found nothing, I didn't even think dad would call the cops anyways
