pearl grass is also used for the 97 alc collectible, great purple scrip craft if you have the stats since it has no crafted components

The IX and X gathering & crafting materia is also pretty good income for anyone not quite at 100 yet.
I know I've spent around 3 mil on those filling out my pentameld sets 😅
The ore craze was amazing for a couple days. Just off what retainers were bringing back, I was making 100K an hour. Unfortunately, like this video will inevitably do, people found out about it, and now the market has flooded, the undercutting continues, and everything involved is no more profitable than what a level 40 miner could dig up.

The reason GP materia is going so cheaply is that our regen is too low to keep up from unspoiled node to unspoiled node inside the 2 game-hour windows. Realistically the most you'd want to spend if you're node hunting is 800-900, and you don't need a lot of GP materia to get to that point. It isn't a melding issue, it's just a game mechanic issue. I don't expect the value of GP materia to go up this xpac unless SE increases regen.

i have had the experience that no matter what you throw on the market for great items, you can make money with it for a maximum of a few days, because soon after someone will ruin the prices! and you will not only be underbid by 1, 2 gil, but also directly by 10k, 20k, even 70k.
in the meantime i have seen so many guides and tried to make money. but the truth is that they either only work for a few days or do not work at all...
because after the appearance of such videos, many try to copy it and break each other's market again. the cat bites its tail...
