  • In this video, Sonora Cinematic's Alessandro explains some of the key features of the Atlas Flutes interface, the articulations, and instruments.
Developed in collaboration with German film composer Christoph Zirngibl who originally created it for his score on the hugely successful animation film Mia and Me: The Hero of Centopia, Atlas Flutes (for Native Instruments' free Kontakt Player) is a collection of world woodwinds that focuses on short, almost percussive and textural articulations. The result is a collection of inspiring woodwinds sounds typically found in film, game and other media audio.

You've got some nice sounding flutes there, and performance mode looks very usable! Especially like the tempo-synched swells. I know it's not the focus of this instrument, but I do wish it had a simple legato articulation as well Hope I can get the money together by Dec 8. :-) Thanks for the good walkthrough.

I understand! Maybe one day we'll do a nice legato library!

Nice! I know you would get a strike but a Horner example would actually sell this better.

Yes I wanted to avoid copyright issues but this was probably the main inspiration: czcams.com/video/MwyvAyJYhro/video.html
