Mount Brandon

  • Mount Brandon is the second highest peak in Ireland and stands alone,
majestically, on the west coast of the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry.
Its bounds to the north are sheer cliffs, falling to the wild Atlantic.
Sweeping green slopes to the south and west embrace lush farmland and
the richest archaeology of the early Christian period in western Europe.
Looking west past the Three Sisters and the stunning Blasket Islands,
the unbroken Atlantic stretches three thousand miles to the shore of
    Newfoundland.
