- Once again, you are the train driver, railroad engineer, loco pilot or train operator along this never ending model railroad layout which was built in HO scale. While watching this cab ride video you are going to discover a beautiful model railway layout in train driver's view. You are going to explore more than 1,000 square meter of this miniature world, and you are going to meet some of more than 200 model trains.

These cab rides gives you the feel of the real deal . I love it .
That's one hell of a big spare bedroom you've got there! Brilliantly done - thank you for showing.
The time, money and effort that goes into these Choi-choo train sets in incredible.
I really enjoyed watching this video, with real working blocks and stopping at train station platforms. Gave me the feeling of being in the engine cab. Thank you for the opportunity to watch this video. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks for watching.
Like a saturated network in Indian railways. Very realistic wait times 😁
I really enjoyed watching this video
While some folks here said there were too many stops, i found the toe-tapping waits added to the realism of a busy junction or track section. I found myself thinking i was on Amtrak (USA passenger trains), where delays are a part of most trips. This is due to the fact that, in the U.S., freight trains get priority over other trains.
At age 70 I’m in the planning stage for my first model railroad. It’s already clear to me that there’s always going to be room for improvement and adding all sorts of things, including videos. It’s all about enjoyment and sharing. Is a layout ever really finished? I hope not.
Thanks for sharing yours!
Прекрасная видео съёмка! Впечатление личного управления локомотивом. Реально работающие светофоры! Это чудо и прекрасная работа мастеров!
An incredible layout to be sure but as far as the cab ride...I'm betting we spent more time sitting stopped at signals than we did rolling. Just too many trains on this layout at one time however, an excellent video job as always!!
Nice layout, a lot of red lights one after another and so close to each other, made this video longer than usual, but overall is a great layout. Thanks for sharing this video.
It's like real life lol
I’ve never been in a model railway traffic jam before😂
Who has??
Bad trilok
Hello, What a fantastic model train, best regards, Harry
What I like to see is, commercial free videos.! Anyone else? How about a thumbs up?...No more adds!!!
Without advertising, the Internet does not work. Either you pay (see Netflix or Prime) or you have to see advertising. These are the rules of the 21st century.
The space this exhibit takes up is mind boggling. It's still remarkable that a group of people could get this built and working in the first place. Would be nice to have lights come on trains when going through tunnels...
Merci pour cette Invitation au voyage...
C'est formidable !
This railroad layout is incredible and wonderful. It must have thousand hours of working !
A (stopping) train journey to the underworld.
I enjoyed it!
Amazing layout---even going through open switches and numerous bad track joints
legend has it that the endless track is truely endless. well done! made me jeaous all i got is shelf queen ho steam train and a tri-ang train with rusty track. :P
Великолепный проект, отличная железная дорога! Спасибо.
Спасибо за просмотр!
Best layout I seen in awhile.
The most awesome thing I've seen in a while.
Stop and go... stop and go... real life. I enjoyed it.
Wonderful display.
Que trabalho Magnífico! Nunca tinha uma viagem tão interessante.
Bom trabalho equipe, que investiu um sonhos virando em realidade :-)
Krasne video , jeden by rekl ze v te to kabine byl...
Boy, for a “never ending model”, it sure stops quite a lot, and for a long time. 15 minutes into the video and the train has been stopped for most of them. There is such a thing as video editing.
I don't mind the train stopping if it looks like it stops to give way for traffic. That's just realism and makes the world feel more alive because there are other trains doing their business as well. But video cuts like at 3:04 are strongly not to my liking.

I thought I was watching a video of my morning commute with all those red lights...
this is a great experience.....fine cab-ride...
Super !!!
Fantástica essa maquete.
Whoever was driving this train was drunk.
so is the signal operator
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wow!, fascinating insight into a world in miniature, thanks for not editing out the red light stops really helpted with total immersion of the drivers world, plus chance to see the comprehensive rolling stock, hope you get the impression l liked your impressive video :-)
Yes, the operator has a lot of rolling stock. Partly the most beautiful, rare models that were once to buy.
bello, decine di convogli che girano simultaneamente.
" you are going to meet some of more than 200 model trains." most of which you cant see because it is too dark, That aside, if the vid had been edited down to remove the waits, I'd have given it a thumbs up.
There are way too many trains on that network, which explains the many waits. Even worse than during peak hours at Waterloo Station.
Completely agree
I liked it lol
But I'll admit if the waits was in a station, it would be easier to see the other trains on the set.
If the set up yards had better lighting, it would be a better video. I'll admit that. Still like the video tho
Gives me ideas on how I would like to set up my railroad.
Side note: I watch this video when I'm ready to go to bed. It's really soothing. If it had some Lo-Fi music playing in the background of ould like it more lol
Amazing ✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌
I like seeing what happens when the train goes into a tunnel. Seeing the inner workings of the layout.
For me living in the city most f my life, I would probably decorate the tunnels tooto oom the like the subway system. I would put in access areas but the idea is that I know I would have cameras in he tunnels and on the train. So for e even in the tunnels I would design them.
You're back! Yay!! I missed you!!!
Thank you very much.
signal management super...
ye a lot of fun to build of this i am sure but boring to watch endless walls going by
this is an amazing layout, WOW, so well done. please, tell me how many operating trains run on this layout? THANK YOU, fantastic
Those models must be installed in a open air, with convertible roof that can be closed when necessary . It's interesting people walking down the train platform, not static generally done...
Something I've always wondered about big train layouts like this.. what steps are taken to prevent dust? I really like the idea of creating a small little world, making stories for people that live in my world. Then I think.. that's gonna SUCK cleaning.. or dusting..
Fabulous and a huge amount of work - a model railway club?
To people who complain it's too slow - you can speed up the video in Settings if you want. I didn't have problems with it being too dark.
That’s a cool layout! That view is kind of boring though, probably looks better on the outside.
Seeing all these great layouts on You Tube makes me so damn jealous. I want to steal them all. Just imagine if you had each and every one of these magnificent layouts combined into one ginormous set. Damn my brain hurts just thinking about it. Well until I'm able to actually afford my own super ginormous layout I can dream can't I??? LOL
If you steal all layouts, then you need a warehouse. The rent for the warehouse is so expensive that you should invest in the membership fee of a model railway club near to you :-)
@@pilentum Yeah but just imagine the sheer size of this warehouse. It would be the biggest building ever built. Then people would know of its existence. Naw I want to kidnap all these ginormous train layouts and keep them without the public's knowledge. Honestly I've had in my mind a screenplay idea for a story line involving great layouts such as yours and others. I won't go into more graphic detail because I don't want anyone to steal my idea. But this idea as far as I know has not yet been written by Hollywood.
@@pilentum Nice idea, but clubs have rules. And there aren't enough clubs for there to be one local to everyone. Better to hit the lottery and purchase one's own warehouse. Then you can build it however you want it, and nobody can tell you not to smoke in your own building.
Olá, linda ferrovia, li do percurso, se você trocar sua câmera por uma 4K (2160p) a qualidade de moagem melhora muito. Sua maquete gigante merece o melhor em imagem. Obrigado. Vanderley do Brasil.
Some people want displays to be unique and personal,a layout that takes time to build a little at a time,
and doesn’t cost a lot of money.Kudos to this RR club it’s an outstanding work of art........however for the majority
of enthusiasts.......it’s overwhelming and unreachable and somewhat depressing,it’s simply too large and too realistic,it’s a miniature city.
I doubt an average person has the money or the time to attempt an even much smaller version especially with costs today.
Thinking massive electric bill. Enjoyed the ride though.
Never ending hidden track work.
Nice layout.. 2 knocks ...Wished lead engines have headlights... A red aspect should not follow a green aspect....
Pilentum is back!Good news after all!
Thank you. But I don't know, why CZcams killed the Pilentum channel on December 2017.
I have one thing to say for your POV video's: Go Faster!
That driver deserves a "please explain" at least having stopped out of course sporadically and then SPAD at least 3 red lights.
SPAD = Signal Passed At Danger
No weathering and a lack of ballast but still great!
they need to sort the track out were the train keeps sticking/not moving. Mostly in the dark
Very nice video. Too many red block light in the beginning. Why doesn't this video locomotive have a headlight for the dark tunnel and unseen areas?
I think it is kind of cool, though in a lot of dark spaces. Not sure anyone tried something like this kind of viewing before. Maybe less length in breaks while waiting would be an improvement.
Passing a signal at danger at 16:31 approx., something went wrong. A few bad rail joints as well. Maybe too many trains on the move to be really enjoyable.
My train is favourite
This is very most realistic model rail road l seen in my entire life specially the trains movement and signaling.l’m sorry this layout makes every model rail road as little child toy.
The only thing never ending is the amount of stops, this would have been better edited to remove them. Most of the layout is simple and lacks character, and the sound is distorted. On a plus note the signals appear to work just fine!
3:20 omg f***ing giants !!!!!!
👍👍👍👌👌👌😁😁
L
They need a crossing gate or warning light at 3:41. The way those trains come barrelling out of that tunnel, someone is going to get killed.
Awesome layout and great video. One question ... what camera did you use? I tried to capture my LEGO train layout with a GoPro Hero4 Silver and was not thrilled with the results. VERY WELL DONE!!
Dear Steven, I was using a lot of so-called action cameras. The lens of the GoPro cameras is not suitable for close-up shots, especially on model railroads. For this and all other Pilentum's video I am using the JVC GC-XA2 camera.
👍👍👍👍👍👍😅😁🌹😀
Train stops too much but i still like it
The train proceeded through a red stop signal!
I noticed that too.
All this space and the train still encounters so many stop signals?
SPAD @ 16:25 & 23:50. I hope the appropriate investigations were carried out and full reports produced.
"Panic"! Noticed at 1:03, points under tunnel not open for train to pass ?
if you have a cab cam, finish the tunnels.
if you post videos of you're awesome layout from the cab, put away the bottles of glue and spare parts shown in the first 40 seconds... lazy.
What is cost of model tell me please🙏🙏
And it runs the switch right out the gate.
It's fun to see what humans look like to ants if they had trains their size.
Hey PILENTUM!, how long did this all take you to set up?
Never ending red lights. Where is the other video? I saw a handheld cam. I want to see the scenery.
Pity about all the staff popping up here and there - !totaly spoiling a great video
GERAT TRAIN RIDE BUT WHERE IS IT.
I have to say it’s the same thing somebody else said yes this is the first time I did a ride care that there’s a traffic jam on this train line it’s a nice big station nice big bear out but why can’t we keep gone yet stop I’ve never seen so long have I ever seen being stopped and jam like this and as I probably think it’s too many playing trains running at the same time who is managing this operation I think he’s drunk to
This is awesome!!!!!! Allllllll aboard !!!!!!!! Pour me a drink if you please.
the switch under the bridge is cut open
01:01 Źle ułożona zwrotnica!
Where abouts is this located? Great video!
The video recordings were made at the famous model railway exhibition "LA STAZIONE" in Germany.
at 01:04, in reality, the engineer will be grounded...perhaps the train will be derailed also...
this is good news but anythig is right *PILENTUM* ?
7:20 weird horn👀👀👀scary
Bei 01:45 --- Unfall ? 🔥 ? Amoklauf an der Tankstelle ? 👍🚂
Ist bestimmt ein SEK-Sondereinsatz gewesen :-)
PILENTUM 😂😂😂 allllles klar 😁
I have always wanted to be on the front of a train. This will do..
It's good.. but I dont wanna be a train driver anymore..
Not now I have...... seen
Turnout at 1:03 were against you!!
Where is this modelrailroad?
The video recordings were made at the famous model railway exhibition "LA STAZIONE" in Germany, see www.lastatione.de
You made it longer by having loads of red signals
It called traffic control.
The sign says what? 3:45: 1902 - 2002 . . . 100 years . . . ?
Anniversary, 100 years, Railway Station of Kirchenlaibach.
Empfangsgebäude (German) ~ Bahnhof = Railway station.
Kirchenlaibach = A very small village in Germany.
Great video but way too many stops.
Habt's auch eine V200
People or auto-computer controlled?
There is no computer. The control is realized by an analog electrical system with relay (block circuit).
PILENTUM That was an answer to my next question. Relays. Got it. Thanks!
I was going to say the same thing; too many stops. Also I noticed the train violating a red light. Realism counts for something.
Yes, but you'll see much better cap ride videos on www.pilentum-television.com/en/index.htm
I noticed that too. I was expecting a police train to chase him for running a red light. 😂
Too much trains.........
