It should be noted Aiden is one of the few characters that actually get a bit more out of Armor or Mag. Def. skins. That bonds of flame gives a 10% buff to his armor and mag. def in additon to the person he's bonded with. If he has more mag. Def to begin with, then the buff itself from bonded flame gets bigger.
also, when he loses less health cause of the MD skin, then it is beneficial to him and the tank.
Kayla is one of my main heroes. He damage output can be huge if she gets to light up a bunch of phoenix glyphs on opponents.
It also helps that she just destroys those pesky heroes in the back line that are usually very dangerous but also very weak.
I wish we had gotten the same Iris (as well as Heidi and Astrid & Lucas) Masquerade Skin as HW Alliance got. I just feel those were really clever skins while at the same time the punk rocker skins don't appeal to me at all. Of course the sheep ones we were voting for as the alternative weren't appealing either. It was just a lost set of skins visually either way for me.
again wrong. Aidan 4th ability is working with magic defense. Meaning the more magic defense he has, the bigger bonus magic defense he will get from that skill in absolute number (of course it will be still 10% of his magic defense). Given that apart of bonding with Kayla, he tends to support tanks, magic defense is needed also for him to properly survive.
Kayla also really needs her armor. The way she jumps, she may turn around those middle position heavy damage dealers for example Jhu or even Dante if he is shielded by a tank and she will be already bleeding health as is.
I guess an extra 1065 magic defense could be helpful. đ€·ââïž
â@@HeroWarsCentral you need just small amount above your enemy magic penetration to absorb good amount of damage. So yes, it can make a difference. Not to mentioned that you only look at additional magic defense from the skill, but add to that also the amount coming from the skin itself (as you were advocating for it not to be useful skin).Maxed Aidan seeming has 45,221 magic defense. But in the battle he will always have 10% more which will be 49,743.1 magic defense. Maxed Amira has 48,159 magic penetration.
So with this Aidan can shield against maxed Amira and absorb part of her damage. And even small difference means a big damage absorption.

i might be wrong ...why does IRIS (which is a mage) gets ARMOR PENETRATION skin? shouldn't be magic penetration?
Her skills are magic attack/health based but some does physical damage. That's just it.
@@biiiiiiiiiix its so weird.. i saw it has red damage...just like dante ..which is pure phy ... and in the ( it said %mag atack) lol :D but watched the fights it does orange damage..so phy dmg i guess
I was caught up on this for a while. She doesn't do any magic damage so Magic Penetration for her would actually be completely useless.
I'm still iffy about upgrading her Armour Penetration though. As I mostly use her for her pure damage, paired with Heidi and Albus. I would love her health skin.

Her attacks are powered by Magic Attack. However, they do physical damage.
In the same way, let's say. Astaroth's shield is powered by Magic attack. It doesn't do magic attack.

Why such a misleading title again???? In the whole video you said things we completely agree with, so we didn't need to watch this, except the misleading title suggests one SHOULDN'T get these skins?! What gives?!
Literally 40 seconds into the video, Charlie says you should get these skins. The title is clearly click bait as other youtubers already posted content in regards to these skins (Misty comes to mind). You can't see the dislike number anymore, but note how low the thumbs up are.

@@bapple30 kayla interesting choice , doesnt jhu do the same + survive with ult so therefore be better ? ( most have jhu for osh anyway ) i get that you kill polaris quick but amira/heidi still alive so maybe try jorgen it does good for me vs that team
@@Forsetii275 Kayla can take out multiples quickly not just single targets, but yes jhu does well also, I think Kayla is a bit better
