Acidic Rain exactly. i’m nearly an adult, and i graduate soon. it’s scary because i’ve hated school throughout the years, and always wanted to leave. but now, i’m worrying about grades and looks, and if i’ll get enough to rent an apartment or if i’ll ever find love, or ever have a happy life worry free. i want to stay young but i don’t at the same time. society just makes this worse and worse. music is like my safe space, especially throwback songs. it’s a shame that future generations will have to worry about looks, wealth, and grades for a majority of their childhood. i’m just stuck in this rut like many others.

I listened to this song when I was eight years old. Six years later, I had forgotten about, didn't know it existed and didn't know Coldplay was a band. One night, I had a sad dream about leaving, and trying to find paradise. This song was playing in my head, and I didn't know any of the words to it. And my memory is really terrible, and I can forget things within minutes. Somehow, in the very back of my mind, I still knew the words to this song.
