This song is awesome, beacause it has so much meanings for every country and culture. Every country had moment's of pain, sacrifice ... I saw a video to this about Katyń( for Poland), was also a very beautiful video. Make me cry.

What an incredible song. This shows the band's ability to make even sad songs such as this one. And here I thought I had already heard the best of their songs. This band really delivers. I will be buying their CD's for sure!

It's so sad, you could even give a reason , I love this song because it is beautiful , If you do not like it because yes , keep it to yourself , I will not insult you , but I hope that whatever wilt answer me as politely .

Cro Power Right, but it's always been like that, religion is an excuse for something. Just like the Swedish Empire era, the Caroleans (soldiers) believed in god and christianity. When they went into battle, they shouted "Gott mit uns!" which means, if you don't know "God is with us".

I would have loved to see a force of Templars charging towards the enemy. That many mounted men in white, red and black must have been truly terrifying.
Reading about History would imply that you do not read only about warfare. Sadly though the interm between wars tends to be rebuilding of infrastructure and preparation for the next war. The Greeks have a phrase, "In times of peace, make alliances."

Most knightly orders started out providing services required by the Christian people. Templar were bodyguards for pilgrims. The Hospitalar(?) provided medicinal services. The Teutonic Knights provided a military for nations that needed protection.
The only reason Why the Templar aren't around is because of a many pushing against them to get out of debt to them.

Except it does, the way wars are fought, are changed constantly. And the reasons for war, also change rather often. It used to be about land, then it was about resources, now it's about wealth or "terrorist wars", i.e, ideologies.

Literally groups of knights on 300-400 people often fought back from 2-3 thousands of Arab troops. The main reason of the failure of the Crusades this unequal struggle small knights with a huge military forces of the Arabs. :) But we stayed there for a very long time. Because we're cool. I am Swedish, parnets were Swedish, there parents and their parents before them and so on as long as there is any form of record. I am Swedish, in my blood and my soul. Yet I don't exist, no swede really exists. Everybody is called Swedish, but still are treated with custom treatment if they immigrate here from another country, but us who are descendants from the Swedes whom lived here for 15 thousand years.. we are discriminated, we don't have any "racism" protection, no fair treatment. Arn The Knight Templar, the way we fight wars change that is obvious everyone here knows that, we are not going to be seeing any cavalry charges ever again, but war is fought for the same reasons and ends with the same results.
You cannot have justice without violence or warfare. It is impossible to keep in check the insane, power hungry, criminal, corrupt, and those that would live off the weak with words. It requires force, in modern times that corresponds to the amount of police officers in a city, forced rehabilitation (i.e. jailtime), and constant checking forces.
Quit arguing ancient history and enjoy the music.

This movie was probable the only love movie that I like. I saw this movie on NETFLIX, and I thought, hhhhmmm, Templars, sounds like a good movie. Turns out it is a love story....... THAT IS ACTION PACKED!

They didn't lie to you. The Muslims were in Spain for centuries, and it hadn't been a violent take over to begin with. The Moors immigrated from Africa into Spain, and had established kingdoms there after the fall of the Roman Empire. It was only later that the Christians conquered Spain. The Ottomans, while successful, didn't force Islam on southeastern Europe, and were in fact better rulers than many of the old kings and lords.
Since most of us are arguing:
The crusades were started by religious people using religion to motivate people and justify war. Most religions condone war in only very specific circumstances, including Biblical Christianity.
I've seen quotes such as that before. They are simple yet they have great meaning. However, I as many others in todays society is forged in hatred, combat and to always be vigilant when you're opressed by strangers who has nothing but hatred for you. I've been abused, I've witnessed rape and friends who's willing to take their lives due to their pain, I am not alien to what a war means... or how it feels for I've been in just a smaller version of it.
From the Viking era we have probobly not forced anyone to Sweden, mostly have come to us to work and that have probobly been true up to somewhere around 1980, from there on most people have fled from war, persucation and famine to us. What I cant understand is that many of them that do get here have a education, many from a university and can´t get a job here without very good papers. Why? Use their knowledge and enrich all of us. Many of them want to work and take what they can, cleaning mostly

The first and earliest indication of warfare on large community level that results in massive death is a city-state in modern day Iraq that dates to 2,500 B.C.

I won't disagree with you about that. Yeah, religious freedom, or freedom from it, is exceptionally important. And some things do need to be taken seriously. The disconnect is the love and tolerance of people more than anything.

As to God creating other things, who's to say that He isn't? I honestly don't know what God does with His spare time, if He even works that way.
And Christianity is about getting to the afterlife in Heaven, yes, but there is so much more to it than that. Loving people and spreading Christ's love is what it's about!
And people did once believe that gods created lightning. I'm not going to say God can't. But God did create the reactions and science of lightning.
