Ratchet & Clank (HD) - All Skill Points & Gold Bolts (Aridia)

- This video will show you the locations of all Gold Bolts & Skill Points on Planet Aridia. Here's the trophies you will get / work towards when following this video:
Skillful - Master all 30 Skill Points
Bolt Commando - Gather all 40 Gold Bolts throughout the game
Transported - Destroy three flying transports on Aridia
Aridia -- 4 Gold Bolts & 2 Skill Points
- Transported -- Destroy three flying Transports.
You can see them in the sky when standing at your ship. Use the Blaster if you want it early (its only close range, takes longer) or use the Devastator to destroy these with lock-on. Use 1st person view to aim at them.
• Swing it! -- Swing all six targets without touching the ground.
This is when you are progressing normally (following the left path that requires the Swingshot). You will get to a room with six versa-targets. This is really easy, use the Swingshot to the first target then quickly turn your body (:ls:) towards the next target and attach to it with :circle:. Keep doing it to you get to the top. Look around the area first to you know the locations.
1. After you used the Swingshot to get the Trespasser. When you look down, you'll see a fan moving counter clockwise, jump down on it (it's moving slow). The Gold bolt is on the middle of the fan.
2. This is from Skids' Agent, backtrack a little bit, there's a big puddle of mud between you and the piece of land. Jump to the top of a wall with :r1:+:cross:. From this piece of wall you can jump to the land, from here you should see a truck. The Gold bolt is on the truck.
3. Magnetboots required. From Skids' Agent, walk up the magnet panels to the left and grab the Gold bolt in the building.
4. This is when have to defeated all the enemies for Skid. There will be a metal grid that you can look through, on the other side is the Gold bolt. From the grid go left and look for a weak wall, destroy the wall with an explosive weapon and grab the bolt. - Hry

Gold Bolt 2 had always puzzled me as a kid, although I do remember grabbing it once before but I'd forgotten how to do it. Never knew how simple it was, too!
Gold Bolt 4 on the other hand... I reckon I got that one due to a stray bomb while battling the Sand Sharks, because that cave was open when I had first found it. Had absolutely no idea that it was sealed off like that.
This was my first video game I played , now I play it on my vita trying to get the platinum trophy, such an amazing game and thanks for the guide!

You actually don't need the Heli-Pack to get Gold Bolt #2. I was able to get it before visiting Planet Kerwan.

You can actualy get to #2 Gold Bolt from going to the ship area where u receive the hoverboard. You do need the Heli-pack tho. Just use it to jump off the top area and glide down into the mud, jump twice and u can get to land. It's how i first did it before finding out you could do it the same way ifs shown on the video.

How do you know when you shoot the planes?
Just use the Devastator to lock-on to them
My Swing It Trophy is bugged and it won't give me the skill point :(
Yet starting another game file on my same PS3 account, I went back to Aridia and did the Swing It challenge and got the Trophy first try. The thing is I don't want the Trophy on another game file, I need it on my main file because I'm on challenge mode 5, and I have no desire to go through the game another 5 times
I think that Trophy is bugged somehow.
The swing it skill point is hard to do on psVita
not to burst your bubble or anything but you don't actually have to have the hellopak for the second gold bolt you can make it when you first go to the planet
The helipack is not required, I did it by jumping on the middle part without fencing.

gold bolt 2 i remember before u to meet skid agent u can jump in the mud two times to get to that platform and then boom u got it with no heli pack lol 😅
