I haven't played on my kit in over a decade, but back in the day I always preferred cheap Wuhan chinas over fancier options because it gave me that super crunchy sound I was looking for.
@@SHABAD0O Wuhan 12s and 18s is all I ran for almost a decade. The only "higher end" ones I ever preferred over Wuhan is my standard A Custom, and my hand hammered A Customs. Wuhan could be hit or miss (especially any China under 16 inches), but the 12s I liked were so damn cheap I didn't mind, and if I wasn't sold on its stand alone sound I just tossed it into a stack with some crashes or a splash.
Is anyone else getting a little tired and bored with all these drummers trying to see who can play the fastest possible and getting away from really engaging with the music/songs?

I've noticed a lot of the metal guys go to the Classics Custom Dark china over some of the higher quality lines.
