I’ve been saying this exact point to everyone for a while now too. What Arteta is doing is creating a squad of humble, hard working, mentality monsters. No toxic egos, no selfish twats, no crybabies - just a healthy and committed dressing room. This is Arteta’s vision and I think he has hit the nail on the head in terms of how a high-performing team should be crafted. Teamwork, commitment, leadership and mentality. Everyone has to possess each of those qualities - and they do.

Sometimes I wish portions of our fanbase were more like that dressing room.

I agree with that he's building a team that will not jus play nice and silky football but also simeone type of diffence peps domination type of football he's trying to put all that but on his own way of playing I might he's trying to create a team that could go toe to toe with any type of teams in the Prem as well as in Europe

Spot on mate! I've been saying the same since Arteta took over. We have a special manager in the making. He possesses clear vision, tactical flexibility, determination, diligence, passion, desire, ruthlessness, strategic planning, positive ethos and a detailed work ethic. We're so lucky to have such a leader. Some fans are completely ignorant and naive of such qualities. This is exactly what we need to succeed. Our time will come, and when it does, it'll be a snowball effect of victories and trophies.

i’ve heard some people say we should sack Arteta if he doesn’t win the league. the same people say that Pep is the greatest manager and city are the greatest team in the world. coming a close second to that is nothing to be ashamed of. he has clearly improved the whole team immensely and brought joy back to the fans, for the most part anyway!! i think he’s destined for big things, hopefully it’s with arsenal!

Arteta has taken a team outside the top four, it took him three years to get rid of the dead wood and build his own side since then we have been challenging the best club side ever for the Premier league title and finishing in the champions league places, Chelsea have spent over a billion pounds but are no where near challenging, Man-United have spent over a billion since Sir Alex but with limited success

The one thing that made me not question the Ramsdale - Raya swap, was Ramsdale's bad record at conceding in the first minute, often on the first shot on goal. Bournemouth - might have fooled us, Reiss Nelson gave us an ending, but Southampton and Fulham this season... 3 times in 2023 we conceded in the first minute.
I remember Wolves last season also scored against us with the first shot they had. In the 2nd minute.
I think Ramsdale is a nearly great keeper. But conceding early probably has Arteta ripping up his tactics sheet too often for his liking.

I think Arteta will achieve great things with the boys

*People will always disagree with a managers choice of players due to their preference for those players.*
So it wouldn't matter who Arteta picks, you'll always get people disagreeing with his selection.
When he was first picked to manage Arsenal, I thought our owners had lost the plot. _Why pick someone to manage one of the biggest teams in europe when he has had zero experience of managing a team on his own?_ And don't give me the old chestnut, _"Well... He worked under Pep._ Yes. So what. Arteta still didn't manage Man. City.
When we got Havertz and Jorginho in, I thought he's really lost the plot. _Why buy someone who can't score and an oldish guy in midfield from Chelsea and why were they so keen to get rid of them?_
Spend £105 million on a midfielder? _Has Arteta lost the plot?_
But on each occasion above, he and our owners, have proved to be right. It's only Man. City's team of robots that stopped us winning the league last year and maybe this year too. And yes. Arteta has made mistakes. Even Pep and Klopp make mistakes. But so has every manager who's ever managed and so has every player who's ever played.
*_But you learn from making mistakes. You never learn anything from getting it right, 100%, everytime._*

This is probably your best video imo. Everything you said, I've been saying for the past 3 yrs. I've backed Arteta since the first day. He had a plan and vision I wanted to hear from a new manager. He's brought our club back to where it belongs. Identity - culture - fan reconnection - passion - desire - competitiveness - unity.
I'm glad you mentioned fans acting like children wanting Arteta out if we don't win trophies, then stupidly recycling rebuilds, which in turn would lead them to want the new manager out as well lol. There are a lot of adult youtubers that fall in this category. They're the ones influencing our younger fanbase who tend to be easy targets due to youth, impatience and naivety.
Arteta is destined to be a great manager. You can see the headaches he causes top managers and teams. Besides Villa, none of the usual top 6 sides have beaten us this season in the league. We're so close to winning major trophies. I have a strong belief we're going to win it next season, regardless if we win it this season or not. There hasn't been a greater time to be an Arsenal fan in the past 20yrs. I've been a fan for 33 years. I've lived through the glory, the pain, the anguish. Club success is cyclical in football. No team can ever stay top. It's a historical fallacy to believe Man City will dominate each season. This is our time to rise, our time for glory and our time to make history. Stick together and stay strong gooners!

People seem to have such short attention spans now and just demand huge success immediately. Yes I absolutely want success for my club, but that is almost always built over time. I think gone are the days of a Wenger or Fergie multi-decade dynasty. A few bad games and the fans start hiring planes to fly Out! banners. It's mental really and it's happening at multiple clubs.

    • @thegoonerfactory

@@thegoonerfactory exactly, it’s like laying a couple of bad bricks and knocking the whole house down to start again. New manager, new staff, new philosophy, new tactics and new players wanted. It’s very rare that you bounce straight back to winning titles after all that. Look at what United have been through since Fergie left.

Do I think Mikel Arteta is a good coach? Well, I don't think anyone can gainsay the fact he's a brilliant coach. But modern management is far more than just coaching on the field or creating tactics.
I think Arsenal and Arteta will grow and improve as they themselves grow and improve. However, there are cheats Arteta could employ to increase his abilities as a coach.
Hire the right people, Nicholas Jover has revolutionized our set pieces. Get rid of the right people Dr Gary O'Driscoll is now leading the race for most first teamers injured in a single season at Liverpool.
Artetas squad rotation is horrible. December and April were a direct result of our zero rotation policy.
So yes we're really good but we're not really great yet you really have to win to be great. Like those great Tottenham teams with Modric, Dembele and Bale really good but never great. 😂❤

    • @thegoonerfactory
      @thegoonerfactory  Před měsícem +2

His squad rotation can absolutely be improved mate that’s something we’ve discussed before aswell I think so good point, and yes we have to win to be great that’s fair and I do think we will but I don’t think it has to be right now or we never will we are so young still 🤝

(Not at you creator) I been waitin for this... So Emery was a no brainer but laden with disaster Wenger... So it went wrong and in my opinion is the last time we truly ''bottled it'' because that term is being used wrong it was 90's description for then undiagnosed PTSD so if you say we bottled it last year you're wrong because it never gave us PTSD cos we on a title race consecutively. END OF... Arteta took over when we had the tattered version of wengers final Squad we was a shambles at the back I'm sorry Squilacci mustafi not good enough he fixed that (Arteta) if you ever played for a team at any competitive level longer than one year or a couple months you'll know when you do drastic work other areas will suffer temporarily until the teamwork kicks in and then you can become effective going forward again. Pepe Ozil Auba all went on to do nothing of real interest good decisions... Every aspect of coaching that has been asked of him he answered lets also look at his rivals... S Gerrard = Scottish dom - Prem - Saudi - Prob getting sacked soon, F Lampard = 2 goes jobless, W Rooney = Manager school, Neville was fully lost in Valencia, OLE WAS NEVER AT THE WHEEL, Any one else? so ppl that were all Arteta out need to go look themselves... A lot of ppl love to come with the whole Arteta 5 years won nothin LMAO he's on 3 honours an FA Cup 2 shields if you come at me with dead banter like shields loser mentality lets look at Sir Alex Ferguson shall we are you telling me you saying he Sir ALEX does NOT have 49 prem league honours he only has 38 cos you don't count them lmao HE WILL GIVE YOU THE WORST HAIRDRYER EVER
