I love poppers, and also the old chug bug! I file the bottom lips and they jump and look like a fleeing baitfish!

The now ones will catch fish but not like the old ones will and the new ones are shity hooks and really light then plastic they need more weight to sit in the water and work.
What about the feather tail hook, some poppers have them and some don't. Should you always fish a popper with a feathered tail hook? I've fished them both ways and got fish on them but just wondered if it made a difference or not.
With your glasses on to cut the glair off the water just like you are going to fishing. You can use your rod just reel your bait up to the eye. I use white myself and slowly go down into the water until you can barely see the bait then from the rod tip to the water line on your rod is what you looking for.

Of course you would like the Mega Bass,but the old Pop R is still the best and heck of alot cheaper.

Glasses or no, it doesn't alter the clarity. Polarized lenses just cuts the glare.
