I started this last week! It took me a couple of tries before I finally got it, but once I did, I quickly found a rhythm. I ran out of yarn before I could finish, but I want to start another one!

Sure, you can use any yarn but depending on the thickness the size of the scarf may vary
I'd like to make the scarf wider (at least 9 inches wide). How many Chains would I use?
Chain until length matches the width you desire.
Do a stacked double instead of chaining 3. Edges stay straighter
Are the stitches multiples of 4?

Multiples of 6 + 4
How many grams does this projects need?
You will need around 200 to 250 gms of yarn

What is the yarn and how much quantity was needed to make a scarf
It's a locally available medium worsted weight yarn. I used about 400 meters
If we want to increase the width of the scarf, what is the number of chains we need ? You made a chain of 28 in start. Which multiple should we use ? Multiple of 4 or two or what?
Stitches are in multiples of 6 with additional 4

You can increase chains in multiples of 6. If you add 12 chains to the initial number of chains you should get a scarf a little over 10 inches
