    #Robotvacuums #Home #Cleaning
    Among all Roborock’s robot vacuums that include mopping and a docking station, the Q Revo is the most affordable. It has high suction, dual spinning brushes, and a docking station that takes care of most aspects of maintenance. It was able to remove an average of 96.2% (by weight) of all debris across each indoor surface type. It’s great for light mopping and is effective at removing hair, including long hair and pet hair. High pile carpet performance is the only area where the device struggles somewhat. If your home is mostly hard floors or low pile carpet, this could be a great option for you.

    Thank you for another high quality video with your amazing detailed review ! I go for this model over anything else, after watching so many videos and especially yours with so many content and 95 models tested. Even compared to the highest flagship S8 Ultra, there is nothing to miss. It has everything, it does everything, it performs excellent all around and has no deal-breaker disadvantages and is the best value for money ! You got a new subscriber :)

    Just found your channel, thank you fantastic channel, just the perfect balance kind of review, thank you for no long stupid intro, we get right to it.
    Ive subscribed, and always a thumbs up from me. Been researching for a good Robot Vacuum and mop and I keep running across your channel and so Ive decided to subscribe ❤
    Back in the day I had one of the first iRobot vacuum mops called Scooba, and it did a really awesome job, it was difficult to clean, but I had it going and did a fantastic job and with mopping would put today's to shame which is so odd as I would have thought iRobot would have continued the line, but now they have basically a swifer pusher.
    Scooba was a giant of floor bot, it used one tank like a wet vac it brushed and vacuumed sucked in the front, then squirted it's solution on the floor, next were scrub brushes, a kind of wet mop bar then a squirt rinse, then a suck rubber squeegee dragged behind, and then its hot exhaust blew down on the floor helping to dry.
    It did all that as it drove around cleaning, so it's odd to me that iRobot has just gone back in time to a robot that should have been first then today we'd have the scooba, but they stopped making them and mine died when the house was struck by lightning, and the cheap power strip and homes breaker failed and basically as my Rosie was plugged it got fried and battery was destroyed. Could never find a replacement for it....searched for years hung on to her and hop, but finally after 10 years I took her apart as I do scale modeling and many of her parts were used the rest juncked into recycling bin....do you know today I can get a batery for it lol of course... anyway, I don't under why doesn't the leader iRobot, the father of robot vacuums, have a better vac mop robot with a service station?
    Strange....
    Thabks for reading ❤👍

      @ModernCastle  Před 6 měsíci

      Thank you for your kind words and welcome! Glad you're enjoying my videos.
      It's a real shame the Scooba went away, as I agree, it was massively ahead of its time. Perhaps iRobot will bring it back in the future.
      Unfortunately, I don't know of anywhere you could find a battery or replacement parts for it...possible something like a batteries specialty store like Batteries+. I'd go talk to them and see if they have any suggestions.
      I too have been absolute astounded that iRobot isn't trying to have a more complete self cleaning docking station. It makes zero sense. Roborock, Ecovacs, and others are leaving iRobot in the past. If iRobot doesn't catch up soon they will just be left behind.

      We attempted to test it, but could never get it to connect to our wifi network.
      I tried 3 different networks at 3 different locations...nothing.
      Without the ability to connect to the internet and access the app the bot's functionality is massively reduced. So we were never actually able to test it.
      It's a real shame, as I was super excited about it. I was really impressed with the original Narwal. I kept thinking they might update their firmware, but as of yet, that doesn't seem to be the case.

    • @ModernCastle
      @ModernCastle  Před 8 měsíci +2

      Performance is pretty similar between all 3 of these. In our tests, the Q8 Max+ had the best overall performance, so if you're okay with the price that's feels like the best way to go.

    • @ahmetbibi
      @ahmetbibi Před 8 měsíci

      Why you would choose q8 max+ over q revo? I think q revo has much more options than q8 max+. Is it because of the price? Or are there any other reasons?

    • @rickECU
      @rickECU Před 7 měsíci

      This model has such potential but I have to tell you I'm extremely disappointed with it. It has such potential but things that clearly it should pick up it just leaves but I know it's picking up dirt because the thing fills up but that's the other biggest disappointment as advanced as the app is and the options and the mapping and all which are great my unit will not Auto empty. For every one successful automatic empty cycle, 9 are unsuccessful. Docking station gets clogged and I get an error message and I have to pull dirt out. This happens at the spot just before the dirt enters the big dust bag. Was thinking that maybe that little automatic plastic door that shuts was somehow shutting even though when you put in the bag it is supposed to force it open. Not sure if the spring door is malfunctioning and shutting after it empties one time and remains shut therefore blocking the dirt from entering into the bag. The fact that all the dirt gets up to that part of the chamber tells me that the door can't really be shut or it would completely block the suction and the dirt would not leave the robot. So I will be returning my unit but I can't find one that has the round mop brushes which I like for wet mopping.
