Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss, Benedict Cumberbatch & Martin Freeman have all stated on many occasions that they would love to do more episodes, but scheduling conflicts prevent this from happening. Like 'Doctor Who' maybe the show will be brought back in a few years. Here's hoping!

No, lets get it straight -Sherlok had 2 issues : 1) Martin and Benedict didn't get along. Minor issue but added up. 2) The creator offended the fans and made fun of them in one of the episodes. This is a major mistake because a fandom is what keeps a show alive. They remember until this day .

The problem with the episode in question (which mocked the fan theories as to how Sherlock survived The Reichenbach Fall) is that the show never came up with a satisfactory solution and implied the viewers were stupid to expect one. The main issue with Sherlock is that each season is about half as good as the season before it. It got worse and worse. The first series works by mistake - they had to rapidly bring the episodes from 60 minutes to 90, so they inserted a lot of extra chase sequences which makes London feel like a character in itself. The second series forgets all that: what's left is thin, and is rapidly spread thinner.

The creator did not “offend” the fans, at least not the British ones because we understand good-hearted satire when we see it. The show ended because its two main leads became much busier in Hollywood, especially Benedict. Doing a Sherlock series is basically committing to a trilogy of movies that both actors couldn’t always make time for. Gatiss and Moffat couldn’t keep waiting on the two stars year after year so they moved on to other things.
The BBC remake has had injuries but they are a lot more careful now and alternates come in to cover them. Like they could have a special episode for those knocked back! Any physical show will have injuries,

Sherlock wasn't continued because the creators didn't want to continue and they've said it before the backlash over the 4th season, the demand by the fans was and still is there, even if the 4th season was relatively disappointing, if a 5th season will be ever created there will be a big demand for it.

How was the "Heil honey I'm home" sitcom not just a 10 second punchline in a sketch show? Something about TV producers having run out of ideas, they insist they haven't run out of ideas, they get into a screaming fight and it cuts to "Heil honey I'm home" title card and that's it. Audience laughs for two seconds and then they move on to yet another take on the cheese shop skit.

Still want a new season of Sherlock. While season 4 wasn't the best. I think the only thing that drags it down was the finale. But the finale was an original story and not based on a Sherlock Holmes story. I think they should stick to the original books as thats what worked best.
One of the things I find amazing (not in a good way) about the finale of Sherlock, is that it ends with a recorded message from John's wife Mary: "When life gets too strange, too impossible, too frightening, there is always one last hope. When all else fails, there are two men sitting, arguing in a scruffy flat, like they've always been there and they always will. The best and wisest men I have ever known, my Baker Street boys, Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson." The reason that I find it amazing, is that Mary is essentially describing precisely what the audience had been tuning in for: Sherlock and John solving crimes out on the streets from their base in Baker Street. She urges John to to continue working with Sherlock, solving cases and having adventures together. The show literally tells us that's what's good about the series. So, why on Earth did this self-aware comment feature at the end of an episode that was none of the things that Mary acknowledges were good about the show? Instead of our protagonists being out on the streets solving cunning crimes, they were locked in a bizarre totally contrived escape room dealing with a long-lost and unmentioned (before the previous episode) sister that was conjured up from nowhere on an unconvincing premise to trap the protagonists in an isolated island prison. What a strange thing - to make a final episode that is, in many ways, the antithesis of what the audience enjoyed, and then tell them right at the end, after not providing it, that the show runners know what exactly audience really wanted. Bizarre.

There was a cold draft (ironically something useful, to help keep the beer), when all of a sudden there was a quiet "pop" followed immediately by a hiss, Yvette Fielding jumped and screamed, which I believe was her main job. I immediately recognised the sound of a pressure release valve doing its job. I had to stop watching as I knew my laughing would have woken up my girlfriend.
Used to love Most Haunted. Loved when Yvette was a scared little thing. We all knew Derek was a fake, because they're all fakes. But he was entertaining "Sam! Keep him away!" Ratings must have been slipping, so they decide to screw Derek over to kick him off the show. Then Yvette suddenly became courageous & a bit of a bitch. Didn't work. She ruined the show. Dumb move by her & Ciaran.

And for the life of me I can't see what's so wrong with the tv show anyway, various members of Monty Python have been doing that sort of thing since the 60s and it's seen as genius. If it was better made it would have been a classic in the mould of other bad taste sitcoms like The Young Ones and AB Fab. Those had no redeemable characters, and yet were hysterical.

Moffat and Gattis have said numerous times that the show will be back if they can find a slot in the schedules of the two main stars as the fame of both exploded during the shows run, making them both hard to get hold of at the same time. Of course the fact it's rumoured that Cumberbatch and Freeman don't exactly get on doesn't help.

Most Haunted was nothing without Derek Acorah. He was obviously a fake the whole time but he nonetheless made the show watchably hilarious.
Hardwick House was another series cancelled after only a few episodes transmitted after complaints by viewers, it starred the Late Rory Kinnear and was a Comedy series set in an English Comprehensive School
How was the "Heil honey I'm home" sitcom not just a 10 second punchline in a sketch show? Something about TV producers having run out of ideas, they insist they haven't run out of ideas, they get into a screaming fight and it cuts to "Heil honey I'm home" title card and that's it. Audience laughs for two seconds and then they move on to yet another take on the cheese shop skit.
Flintoff a cricketer on a car show racing was always going to end in disaster. Crazy casting!

I can't believe a show like Heil Honey I'm Home got made, AND the first episode even aired in the 90s lol And I can't believe also that a show called The Girlie Show was even more controversial than that, and the UK tabloids were adamant in destroying it. Well, that part is not surprising at all.

Thats a real shame about The Richardsons I'm gutted. There aren't many shows these days that are genuinely funny and make me laugh out loud but this was definitely one of them. Another good show bites the dust 😢😢

Still want a new season of Sherlock. While season 4 wasn't the best. I think the only thing that drags it down was the finale. But the finale was an original story and not based on a Sherlock Holmes story. I think they should stick to the original books as thats what worked best.

One of the things I find amazing (not in a good way) about the finale of Sherlock, is that it ends with a recorded message from John's wife Mary:
"When life gets too strange, too impossible, too frightening, there is always one last hope. When all else fails, there are two men sitting, arguing in a scruffy flat, like they've always been there and they always will. The best and wisest men I have ever known, my Baker Street boys, Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson."
The reason that I find it amazing, is that Mary is essentially describing precisely what the audience had been tuning in for: Sherlock and John solving crimes out on the streets from their base in Baker Street. She urges John to to continue working with Sherlock, solving cases and having adventures together. The show literally tells us that's what's good about the series.
So, why on Earth did this self-aware comment feature at the end of an episode that was none of the things that Mary acknowledges were good about the show? Instead of our protagonists being out on the streets solving cunning crimes, they were locked in a bizarre totally contrived escape room dealing with a long-lost and unmentioned (before the previous episode) sister that was conjured up from nowhere on an unconvincing premise to trap the protagonists in an isolated island prison.
What a strange thing - to make a final episode that is, in many ways, the antithesis of what the audience enjoyed, and then tell them right at the end, after not providing it, that the show runners know what exactly audience really wanted. Bizarre.
How about one titled `Ten Times WatchMojoUK were an `Effing` waste of time on CZcams?

04:44 I once, and only once, caught an episode of Most Haunted, in which they where in a "haunted" pub cellar, after hours... There was a cold draft (ironically something useful, to help keep the beer), when all of a sudden there was a quiet "pop" followed immediately by a hiss, Yvette Fielding jumped and screamed, which I believe was her main job. I immediately recognised the sound of a pressure release valve doing its job. I had to stop watching as I knew my laughing would have woken up my girlfriend.
Used to love Most Haunted. Loved when Yvette was a scared little thing. We all knew Derek was a fake, because they're all fakes. But he was entertaining "Sam! Keep him away!" Ratings must have been slipping, so they decide to screw Derek over to kick him off the show. Then Yvette suddenly became courageous & a bit of a bitch. Didn't work. She ruined the show. Dumb move by her & Ciaran.

I wanna see more meet the Richardson, they still have to have a relationship because of their daughter, as long as things are amiable behind the scenes, they could write some really funny comedy based on real situations. @@lucasoheyze4597 Yeah, the nuance in JoJo Rabbit was that it was a movie as opposed to a three camera sitcom. And for the life of me I can't see what's so wrong with the tv show anyway, various members of Monty Python have been doing that sort of thing since the 60s and it's seen as genius. If it was better made it would have been a classic in the mould of other bad taste sitcoms like The Young Ones and AB Fab. Those had no redeemable characters, and yet were hysterical.

What utter bollocks with Sherlock. Firstly it hasn't been "killed off" and secondly, it was still pulling down great viewing figures and only a small vocal minority was whining.
Moffat and Gattis have said numerous times that the show will be back if they can find a slot in the schedules of the two main stars as the fame of both exploded during the shows run, making them both hard to get hold of at the same time. Of course the fact it's rumoured that Cumberbatch and Freeman don't exactly get on doesn't help.
