You can lift as much as you could when your hip was normal … of course you must not plan to become a professional weight lifter .. but you can lift as much a normal person needs in his daily life

Good morning Sir.. i recently underwent left side THR at Delhi.Now its been 6week running.. I’m advised PWB for 6 weeks.. Sir my problem now is i feel very tight down frm back of my thigh ms to calf ms n cudnt sit till nw because i get so mch pain on back of my thigh ms & past 1week every evening my plantar aspect of foot has started to burn.. I’m taking lyrica tab 75mg along with bio D3 n multivitamin..Sir is it normal to hv such things n how long it will take fr me to recover..i had childhood hip infection/DDH
As you mentioned you had problem since your childhood your limb must be shortened, now after the THR Your limb has lengthened and nowyour muscle and nerves are stretched, one can expect the issues you are having, take proper medicines and physiotherapy, this issue ll also resolve with time
