    Honestly bro Jordan's hurt my feet. They are one of the most uncomfortable shoe I've ever worn so I don't wear Jordan's period. I shop for comfort more than anything. To me true clothing style is combining comfort with freshness nowadays. Ijs.

    Fellas, remember… YOU make the clothes, they don’t make you.
    Say to self: “I’ll look good in this” (or that), not “that’ll look good on me.”
    One last thing… you get what you attract - allow your attire to aid in what or whom you want to attract. Peace!

    All my money goes to buying Jordan after Jordan. On OG releases 2,3,4 Pairs at a time. My Goal this year is to focus more on buying men's clothes instead of Jordan's every week. So far I failed. I am like you was. Grey, Black, White and Red and a bunch of graphics shirts- nothing else

    What i did this year i went for a black label cafe racer leather jacket, it works so well with dress pants and fitted jeans. And recently i picked up a RLX parka with looks dressy and got a black label vest it has lesther on the shoulders and it can be worn with dress pants and jeans. Im trying to get away from street wear. I also picked up a tuxedo ralph lauren pants and it goes perfectly with every thing i recently purchase. My next purchase will be a shearling im stepping out the box.

    Hey Rio for me is being comfortable and I didn't know where to start so I took action and started looking for content to give me the confidence to develop my style and that's how I came across your channel. I am still not there as yet with the feeling that I am making a good choice when I am looking for clothes, but your content is making the process easier. I have realized style is subjective you determine what style is an expression of who you are and well as you say contrast goes a long way.

    All great points here! I feel like working on your personal style is a journey in itself. I've been there too -- used to wear all black streetwear all the time. But I felt as I got older and my mindset and professionalism began to change, I needed a wardrobe to reflect that. What I've learned so far is there's a time and place for fashionable streetwear and athleisure just as there is a time and place for a well-tailored suit.

  • @longevitybullys

    That’s not true at all about guys being short rocking baggy clothes.
    The main thing is …tailoring
    You have to find a tailor to fit your clothes.
    Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, DMX, Tory Lanez and more.
    All them wear/wore baggy clothes and for the most part they’re considered trendsetters.
    So I disagree with your height being an issue with how you dress because you forgot about tailoring.
    Now your body type as far as build is a factor. In the military they have the uniforms down to a T. They have items like short long, long short, short wide, tall wide, etc. goes the same for boots 9 wide, 9 narrow.
    If you don’t have the proper tailoring your statement is valid. Tailoring is the #1 reason why any style may make or break a look.

    • @iamriop
      @iamriop  Před 4 měsíci +1

      The current baggy/relaxed trend is far from tailored. The average person is not visiting a tailor to have their clothing altered. The celebs you named most likely have a stylist. Not to mention that they're rich. They don't fit this equation lol. My statement is simply about how I see things being worn during this current trend.

    • @longevitybullys
      @longevitybullys Před 4 měsíci

      @@iamriop I know the statement is an opinion but all I’m respectfully saying is that having your clothes being altered plays a big part. There are average people who are in the fashion/trendy space who get their clothes altered ..plenty of diy’s on CZcams.
      Being rich has nothing to do with being able to get clothing altered. It doesn’t cost too much.

    • @iamriop
      @iamriop  Před 4 měsíci

      I agree with you about altering clothes. But I'm explaining that alterations is not part of the trend. Have you seen how ppl are dressing? It is FAR from tailored. And you mentioned celebs who are known to have stylists. Stylists cost money. Money has a lot to do with it lol. I respect your point-of-view, though!
