Brother this was the ONLY video that solved my problem with my American Standard Cadet 3 dual flush! Nothing wrong with the siphon where u push the buttons! It was the calcium buildup. Had vinegar and baking soda let it sit for 15mins scraped with end of metal hanger and voila! Perfect flush every time! Thank you so much from Toronto Canada! So happy I didn't spend any money at all!
I tried the other resets for the siphon and nothing changed. I watched this video and 15 minutes later it is like the toilet is new again. Thanks for the video.
I never thought of that flush hole clogging with calcium. Not having any vinegar handy, I used a wire probe and cleared out chunks of calcium. Yup, you were right. Thank you.

im happy i could help someone. Took me weeks to figure it out. such a simple thing..
Did you drain the toilet before u dumped vinegar and baking soda in or did u just put it into the bowl water?
sorry for the late reply. i shut the water valve to the bowl and flushed. i then added vinegar and let it sit. And poked inside the hole. voila!!
