Holy crap, I remember this car. It wasn't like any GTI I've ever seen, I couldn't stop looking at this car when I saw it. Owner was super chill when he caught me taking some pics of his "GTI RS". Told him it was badass and unique then he gave me a goody bag with that air-freshener and sticker pictures. The details and execution of this build in person are awesome. Spotted @ Whole Foods off of i40 in Albuquerque, NM if you see this & remember.

Reading the comments saying it’s “a little over the top” makes me smile. That’s exactly why I’d build a car like this. If it’s not over the top it’s just ordinary. This build is unique and that’s what makes it great.
well ain't much MK3 gti with wide kids besides BBR cup kits and those are rear so stand out and do it , however not a fan of the newer generation golfs

Nice build, I really like it! I've never been a huge fan of super-wide body cars, but every so often someone does it right and in my opinion this is definitely one of those examples where a lot of thought, care and craftsmanship went into the vehicle. Excellent execution. By the way, there's some seriously dope music throughout this video, can we get a song listing of the tracks used in the video please?
This GTI is so clean, only thing I would change is delete the roof rack and the decals on the side. Other than that it’s perfect.

Gimme Gimme lol iso wanna do this to my 2015 2 door white gti it got hit in the front left cost over 10grand to repair these cars are just fun to drive and i def wanna do track and daily this car. the widebody is sick, wheels are amazing, the roof rack is so flushed and goes with the car love what u did brother!

I have the exact same car but a 4 door and I've been looking everywhere for a video on this build, it looks amazing no matter what angle you look at it from.
I also have a question. Could a body kit like this be adapted to a 4 door or would it be too tight?

Epic Miner others have modified the kit to work with a four door, but it requires a lot of fabrication and fiberglass work to be done well. You can find more on my car at www.gti-rs.com too. 👍🏼

Great looking car. What is the font you used for the GTI RS decals? I would love to make something like that for my GTI.
Do a search for Porsche GT3 RS and look at the images - the car has a factory decal with the same font. It's a very creative play/homage to that iconic car. Some of the car decal specialists (again, search) should be able to reproduce that. I hope that helps.

How much is this group of wheels?
I don't wanna be that guy because this is actually a pretty impressive build and an actual project, not just wheels and suspension, but I find it a lil over the top. The concept is great but I don't think it matches the platform it's in. For example, at waterfest, with the wide arches and all the thing looked good! But the bodykit kinda ruined that balance. But that's just my opinion, it's worth what it's worth, I didn't pay for it. I respect the work put into it

Everything's over the top but the power. 250hp in a 3k car won't even keep you next to stock muscle cars. An RS badge to me says performance yet it doesn't even come close to the stock R.... The rest of it looks fantastic.

Not a big fan of bolt on wide body kits. It just looks kinda sloppy, and doesn't really trick my eye into thinking it's really a wide body car.
