I never would have thought to make such simple and easy cards using patterned paper. I always tend to lean towards white cardstock and using it for everything, just coloring it. I love this idea. Thank you Amy for sharing your talents. Hope you're having a wonderful summer.
Beautiful classy understated cards Amy, makes great use of all the supplies in the kit. Would never have thought to have embossed the patterned paper. I have some older craft consortium paper very like these and will definitely give this a try. Thank you for sharing as always. 😘❤️

When you cautioned us not to force our diecut machines I was waiting uncomfortably for you to say "ask me how I know" as you often say in some unfortunate circumstances. So glad you didn't. This is a beautiful kit, and your cards are absolutely beautiful too!
oh I've never forced anything but I broke a different brand of die cut machine just die cutting fun foam (this was years ago) and it was why I switched to Spellbinders Platinum as it works WAY better. Regardless of the machine tho it's the truth - trying to force the plates through will almost for sure wreck the machine. I've seen people literally burst theirs apart doing that 😬

Very pretty cards. I wasn’t sure if I was going to get the kit or skip, but the amazing samples have convinced me to get it! That floral paper reminds me of the old Chatterbox papers. I still have a ton of it!

This set is very elegant and just gorgeous. (Did you know your sound is off or something because it sounds like your a scuba diver breathing. Never noticed this before. The second part it was not like that. I Want the best for you and your channel cause I’m a big fan and follower of yours! Take care.

I'm using a new lav mic - I'm planning to start doing live videos and need it for that. So for hauls/unboxing/etc type videos I'm using this mic and trying to figure out how to get it to sound normal. My voiceover mic is the same one I've been using for years and that one won't change (took me literal YEARS to figure out the proper settings on that thing and now I have it where I like it LOL). This new one is annoying and I apologize - I'm still figuring it out!
@@PrairiePaperandInk sound systems are never easy to set up. My son in law is a videographer and on every shoot has to set up the sound system and it takes him forever! He is always running to different places in a room to see what that spot can hear. I’ve watched him many times scratching his head so I know it can be tricky. You’ll figure it out. Hope hearing from “my spot in the room” will help. Take care.

the papers are SO pretty - definitely need to see and feel them in real life there's so much detail and random bits of gloss and foil etc. I have some other papers that I hoard from the same brand - they make REALLY nice products

I've been having a rough month - lots on my plate and all sorts of things. Plus it's been crazy hot here and my garage/office space has been nearly unbearable to even be in. We've come up with a couple of ways to cool it down tho so that I can get back to work b/c I got a lotta kids to feed LOL! So stay tuned for more consistent videos (all my fingers are crossed). ❤️❤️❤️

I didn't - it was a great kit but it got delayed getting to me (there was a weird blip last month and my orders were hopping all over the country and the kit took forever and it was just bizarre) and I never got a chance to and then this one showed up!

You wouldn't happen to have a tip to fit the bigz thru an a4 xcut right? Just asking. Annoying that I have that die and cant use it. PS I like the one with white and neenah. And I know Carfter's companion makes that but can't find it here; is kindof becomming an obsessive search lol

Amy how donyou keep your glue flowing so well. Mine plugs a lot. Also I can not get my velum to lay flat. Any advice? These cards are fabulous 🥰
I store my glue nozzle down. That way it doesn’t generally dry out. Now there are occasions… grin. I have a fairly deep rectangular container that holds all of my different glue adhesives…and they are all upside down in there.
I keep pins on my desk and use them to unclog when it happens. I also thin out my glue from time to time with a couple of drops of distilled water (only a couple of drops - add too much water and it can thin down the glue too much and make it useless). The more air that gets in the container (so when it's less than 1/2 full) it's going to get a little thicker - so I thin it out and use a pin if I need to. If it's an absolute nightmare of a bottle that is ALWAYS clogging (that's happened a couple of times) then I'll take the lid right off and clean it out completely with hot water in the sink. That cleans out any partially dried bits etc etc and almost always solves the clogging and it works till I use the bottle up.
also what Joni said - I keep mine stored upside down. When I'm good about keeping the lid on consistently etc it rarely clogs but I'm bad for leaving it sitting out and forgetting to put the lid on half the time so I just keep pins on hand to unclog the nozzle and I'm good to go.
