Diamond beach is on the east side of Penida Island. Hike down to beach is difficult but if you are young you can try. View at the beach is amazing. 1 out of 10 person go down to beach as there are no proper stairs down to beach. At some places there are even no stairs and have to go down with the help of ropes as shown in video. No doubt Diamond beach nusa penida is one of the best beach of Bali or one can say Damond beach is one of the most beautiful beach in the world.
There is no show or restaurant down the beach. You must carrry your water bottle as you will not get it down the beach

Should we do a day trip to Nusa Penida from Bali or stay for a night in Penida ?

I a day trip to Nusa penida. They take you to just West Penida.
You will reach at Penida at arround 10 AM and visit Kelinking Beach, Broken beach, Angle's Billabong and Crystal bay in next 5 hrs. Then they will take you back to port at arround 3-4 pm.
It would be so hectic and in scorching heat in afternoon.
Better you stay 1 night in penida and explore both east and west penida in morning and evening time.
