Hi! I've actually attended one of their concerts after COVID-19. It was worth the wait! They were so good that I almost cried after watching their concert
it takes practice and also SACRIFICE. imagine yourself getting rid of all your favorite foods and drinks or even those normal ones that can ruin your vocals even for a slight change of tone.

Norielle Lising yung Bass 2 yung best kong narinig mag solo ng circle of life. Best combination dito ng intro with 2 tenors yung isa regular tenor at yung isa yung magrowl. Yun talaga ang gusto kong tunog nila compare Sa ibang version nila nito kasi iba na yung ang sosolo.
Norielle Lising sir Tomas pala yung Tenor Na nasa quartet 1. Siguro nga best siya kasi simula ng makita ko si sir ever since Na sumali siya diretso quartet 1 agad. Si Mam Perlita lagi naman yan nasa quartet 1 alam ko she was already there Kahit si Mam Andrea pa ang conductor. So yung Marvin alam ko bagong tuntong siya ng Madz noong 2007 EGP so I don’t kung Anong quartet yun Basta malapit siya Sa edge facing the conductor. Si Mam Bianca ba ever since quartet 1 din agad?

+Alex guru I think are not really banned... They had another grand slam I think in Arezzo (winning another ## yrs or something straight) so they will be guest choirs for some years before they will be allowed to join again. :)
Yes that is right, they are not allowed to compete for now but they can still be guest for several events. Don't worry we have several batches from the Philippines to compete in different events.
@@kiuza8088 in the Philippines their style of producing a choral sound, which is madrigal, is the standard sound. That's why the singing sound of choirs in the country especially in Churches is the same.
Naalala ko nasa UPLB ako sa chapel na paupo ako sa tabi ng Madz by accident. Napatingin at napatunganga ako nung kumanta sila. Hindi ko pa alam Madz un, nung sinabi lng after nang mass.
The alto supporting the soprano at 10:20-10:26, and the harmonization of all the voices with a very pronounced bass at 10:30-10:35 is amazing beyond comprehension.
Huhu nagquit na ako sa chorale dahil pinili ko acads. Pero ayun nakakalungkot na nanunuod nalang ako ngayon. Thank you Madrigal dahil isa kayo sa inspirational ko!

They have won European Gran Prix twice - most prestigious choral competition on earth! AGT is not the proper channel for chorale competition. You dont want to be judge by someone who doesnt have high level of musicality right?

It has always been their practice to have a counter-tenor (male singing alto) in the group just like the tradition of the traveling choirs during the Madrigal era.
The alto, or should I say counter tenor your talking about is Sir Ily Matthew Maniano, arranger of the first song, Doxologia. Before Ily, they also have Chris Borela, also a counter tenor and an arranger.

Never ceases to amaze me how they can sing mezza voce and then crescendo without losing their unique timbre.
When the sopranos start their high notes with a smile in their lips. such a pretty effortless lady.

I just recently realized that the middle guy of the 3 males sitting side by side (left wing) is singing in Alto Notes! Amazing!
