5:22 Spot welds at four prongs are tiny dots on GENUINE, and larger spots on FAKE. On AMAZON I bought "OSRAM XENARC OEM 4300K D1S HID/XENON Headlight bulb (66144) by ALI - Made in Germany (Pack of 1)" Box has 11 digit code on it, bulb has no blue tint, BUT at base of XENON capsule I can read "OSRAM" in tiny print on metal base of of glass module. OSRAM and MARSO spelled backwards. All looks good inside the guts, except transformer coil is only copper wires, and no aluminum wrap as seen on some photos. Perhaps I bought very old stock. Box writing is english, but inner box tabs mention importers in Istanbul, Romania, and Warsaw.
I’ve just had this happen to me. I bought H7 halogen nightbreakers from Amazon. Spent ages fitting them to the car are they were no brighter than my old basic bulbs. I used the QR code and everything matches up correctly to the packaging, but when I got to the “congratulations it’s a genuine Osram product” page I noticed the product was listed as w5w led, a completely different bulb. Looks like Osram’s trust program is useless.
Salut! Mersi mult pentru informatii. Un lucru pe care l-am observat cand ai scanat codul QR de pe cutia fake este ca part number'ul pe bec nu este 66140 ci 66144. De altfel pe site'ul OSRAM am vazut cutii care au partea aceea portocalie si sus dar si jos ceea ce ma face si mai confuz :))
Hello! I checked the Osram video made on the topic. The box is good even if it has a bigger picture or doesn’t write xenon. The rest of the video is right. You should check the label at their trust program. I just ordered a pair from Emag. I am curious if it’s legit, because it’s from a vendor.
autokarma. cele mai ieftine preturi din Romania la piesele auto si 100% originale. pe autoeco un OSRAM ORIGINAL este 246 lei redus de la 289 lei cica.....in timp ce pe autokarma este 179 lei. BrotherE...mai studiaza, ori faci reclama ori nu esti suficient informat. Asta era pentru D1S......D3S e 208 lei pe autokarma....iar pe autoeco e 254 redus de la 299 lei cica
Salut a poti sa imi zici si mie ca trebuie sa skimb xenonu si imi scrie pe xenonu vechi d1 35w si nu gesesc pe net numai d1s 35w si nu stiu daca se potriveste
d1 e acelasi lucru cu d1s, d1s xenon 4500K sau 4300K e ceti trebuie. Daca becu e galbui, cel actual, baga 4300k daca e mai spre alb albastrui baga 4500k osram d1s 66140 se numeste

I have one that has the C logo from the fake one, and also has the good Hg logo from the original. The sticker is well placed too

If it was on a good price or amazon sale, must be old stock no worries. good spotting!
O recommend switching to d1s plug and play led. 6000k white. avoid all the hussle

Fake...99%....osram don't fk up...is just a copy pasted qr code..chinesse do these tricks.
@@AKMCars Its so hard to avoid these fakes nowadays! Even the Osram website lists amazon as an authorised dealer.

De pe emag marketplace....nu am incredere. Doar ceva firma mare sa fie. pune unul vechi original si comparal cu asta de pe emag sa vezi

Mai vezi si dacas originale. De la ei nu mai i au de 4 ani :) de la niste faze similare.

I agree...philips sucks....osram ia the best bust shittier lifespan..they degrade philipa wont. Try also...Hella Lights.
