but you know, even when the mood/music is joyful and dancing, with Mylene, the lyrics can be very dark and.... "journée" doesn't mean "journey", but "day", so she sang "it's a beautiful day, I'm going to sleep..." this song is a poetic way to talk about suicide....! (and she confessed later she censored herself writing the lyrics, cos' the first version was too explicit : "it's a beautiful day, I'm going to kill myself").

Hi! It means it's It's a Beautiful Day actually and it's so 'happy' but the lyrics deal with suicide. So she's sometimes dark even when she's not. 😀

I'll be at her concert on July 8, 2023, in Marseille (in the south of France in the middle of the summer).
It's not a farewell tour, but it still looks slightly like it. It's unknown how she envisages the rest of her career, knowing she has been singing since the beginning of the 80s (83, to be exact; therefore, the tour will celebrate her 50 years of career).
Anyway, I love this song *"C'est une belle journée."* (That's a beautiful day)
We listen to it in the morning, and although the lyrics are morose, we are in good shape for the rest of the day. It's paradoxical and unique.

If you want tickets for her 2023 tour, hurry up because lots of dates are already sold out and some say that it will be her last tour (she's 60). I know that we say that for every tour but I'm afraid that it's gonna be true this time.
Mylène just doesn't do "less is more", does she? I don't think I'll ever get to see her live, but those who do certainly get their money's worth! And it's usually humans doing the robot dance, but here it's the other way round. Sort of. Really cool! If asked what my favourite music video is, the first one that comes to mind is actually robot themed. Thanks for your reaction! Honestly, this song sounds lightly and happily, but it's misleading impression. "C'est un belle journée" is song about s##cide, melancholic thoughts. I like its lyrics, like music and Mylène's dance, however, sometimes it makes me sad.
