my average cost was 3$ per share. i sold half of my shares for profit at 400%. sold out completely at 600%. 40k profit.

a win is a win, i dont know why you wouldnt hold it longer, or at least sell half shares and hold longer. This seems like an excellent long term stock to hold ESP at your average share price

Didn't bump into your video for quite a while, man. Good and valuable content. I'm shorting it currently , a good size of some OTM naked short calls. will sell shares directly when up trend is clearly over.
There was so much that you missed here. ASTS seems to care about its investors and they have said they will not dilute this year and have no plans to dilute next year. They are hoping for more prepayments from MNOs in the near future. With 20 sats, they will be able to offer uninterupted service in the US. The biggest cell market. You are wrong about SpaceX, they partnered with TMobile, but are having issues getting FCC approval. Your analysis is pretty weak and misses so much more. There are military applications ASTS is getting paid for and much more in the works. There are billions in grants possible, Rural 5G Fund, etc. You don't really understand the technology and how superior they are to everyone else. You also didn't mention all the MNOs world wide like Rakuten, Vodafone etc. You really didn't help your community with this post. How you think RKLB is better shows you don't understand the ASTS business model either. ASTS will be a sanctioned monopoly in the near future. Please spend more time learning about this incredible opportunity.
Just because you won't dilute this year, does not mean you won't get diluted the next year. They don't have the cash for $5 billion worth of projects.
I'm not wrong about SpaceX since the T Mobile thing has yet to move a needle.
This is a company that generated $900K this Q and is worth $8 billion. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that it doesn't make sense.
Keep buying at these prices and tell me I don't understand it because you feel insecure with your investment.
Surface level DD, nondilutive MNO prepayments + EXIM funding + Firstnet will open up once BB1 is deployed and tested.

Where does AST operate? How many other players are there going to be?
Idk if you noticed but the price of cell service providers is cheaper today. This isn't a high margin business and the switching costs are very low.

_- ASTS will operate globally and is the only one offering lower orbit 4G-5G cellular service. It is not to be confused with Starlink and others._

_- Exactly. You probably don’t need it if you don’t travel and your world is mainly in the city. They’ll probably have an on-demand charge for the service. The numbers I used for an example are not set in stone, but to give you an idea of how big this can be: billions, not millions. Emergency and government agencies will use the service, too._
Never considered buying 0DTE options, but for this stock.. it’s the only thing I’d consider lol

Neil, a little surprised that at least the fact that they have a direct competitor in private Lynk Global was not mentioned. I know info on it hard to come by; but Lynk does have sats flying; they aren’t vaporware; have made inroads enough that that they have positioned themselves for possible customers in the defense space and are better positioned internationally I believe than AST is. Note: the immutable rule of telecom- the quality ALWAYS goes up, and the price ALWAYS goes down. There are no exceptions to this.

@mtdspfgh It's as I said, regardless of the product, the price goes down, the quality goes up. Dark fiber, lite fiber, ATM, long distance calling, mobile phones, etc. have never increased in cost, and the quality has always gotten better. You probably don't pay at all or very little to make a phone call anymore, and there are plenty of ways to avoid paying. Mobile phone service used to be pretty bad, now, in most places, it's very good.
So, what problem exactly is this service solving? Because where there's poor cell service history shows that it's going to improve while getting less expensive.

@mtdspfgh If they're providing telephony services, then by default, yes, it would apply to them.
That said, the only thing I know about them is from this video, so perhaps there's more to the story.
Lastly, keep in mind that there's now lots of competition for what even constitutes a phone call. There are loads of apps that allow you to have two-way voice communication without technically being a phone call. Hence, the low/no cost of an actual phone call these days.
Again, I haven't looked at this company, so perhaps there's more there. I'm simply stating what has happened in telephony since its creation.

Subpar DD and no useful information. What if ASTS is not a 100 billion in 10 years but made itself a 70 billion company? Thats still a good investment. The ceo already said they are not doing dilutive funding this year.

My main issue is they haven't demonstrated the tech actually works, even before we get into the balance sheet. Only two demo's on the IR page last time I looked. Both involving a single phone call.
AT&T , Verizon, Rakuten, Nokia - they have access to those tests
