Such an interesting concept and world for a racing game. Had fun playing it but man it was difficult trying to get all 1st places in the Championship mode before lol. Has a really good soundtrack too.

7:46 XD I just remembered I had several replays become ever-so-slightly out of sync. By lap 2, my character would bump all over the place.

A pity this game only released in NA. I played it on a PAL PStwo (luckily my CRT is compatible with NTSC signal). iIRC, I 100%'d it with many lap records.
Also, there was an exploit I used a lot:
the game (eventually) advices you in a loading screen to double-press the throttle while skidding to get a brief boost; well, by touching the brakes to skid then double-pressing the throttle, I could hold on more speed indefinitely.
Nonetheless, the game seems to have several speed limits. Depending on my current speed, the exploit would sometimes let me top out, sometimes cap me at (say) 355 km/h, sometimes at 420... So the strategy was to use the boost to get to the top speed, then exploit (avoiding any collision at all because that ruins it) for as long as possible. Probably that's why I got so many lap records. (>▽
A birth later, I found another exploit: boost is a lot more powerful when you're holding the brakes. ✨feesex✨
