The girls’ harmonies are always brilliant, but their UNISON is absolute magic. For non-siblings, they are incredibly tight and blend perfectly into that mesmerizing third voice. No one else has that.

I was nervous about this release, but honesty it makes you smile, cry and dance. This is unbelievable. If you're a long term fan of ABBA, the lyrics will hit deep. Brilliant song writing and the girls sound amazing. Plus a Christmas song! I wonder if it's their grandchildren singing at the end? The album is the guys from ABBA saying we're still here and ok. It's so reassuring at the moment.

They even turned down $1 Billion in the past... therefore money is not in their minds when they decided to create this album. They just jammed two songs and then decided to do some. It's like haven't jammed with your best friends for so many years, then, when you met, you're jamming as if there's no tomorrow.

i have nothing to do with pop music in general, but i've 'seen' abba live when my mom was pregnant with me in 1977 (8th month, really close to giving birth and my mom danced her ass off). i grew up with abba, was the favorite band of my parents. my mom passed away after her third stroke exactly one year ago. it would have meant the world to her to listen to the new album together with me. it breaks my heart that she can't. i'm totally standing in the water but at the same time it's so wonderful listening to 'voyage' and witnessing this moment. this album is phenomenal.! gonna grab my boombox and visit my mom at the graveyard right now...

Wonderful that you took your boombox to your mother's grave and played ABBA Voyage to her there. I'm sure she enjoyed it from above and I'm also sure she was touched by the fact you brought it to her and that you think about her while playing Voyage. When a parent passes away it can feel like a piece of yourself has left. I'm sure your mother is keeping an eye on you and is looking at you with the most loving smile

It brought tears to my eyes watching this short video describing making of the album and seeing Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny, and Frida in the studio. They looked so happy. Wonderful!
Numerous times in the past they said all four will never be photographed, filmed or be seen together anymore. We had to remember them as they were. And look what they give us. Totally pure and looking at ease with their older age. They still have it. What a joy to see and listen to! Thank you so much ABBA, it was definitely worth the long wait.

yes even they have said recently that there will not be another abba album doesnt mean there wont be maybe not a album but a few songs because bjorn said he needed a motivation said a few years ago regarding the abbatar project that he would consider making new songs for them to sing.
@@kyleday5026 Frida said she was surprised by the “no more albums” comment, and Benny said “if the other 3 twist my arm…”. I think what’ll happen is they’ll be a studio band only. The ABBATARS will tour while they write and record when they want to.

Dignity. This really stands out to me when I think of ABBA. They work together and put personal issues behind them and work together without issues. No public spats, no desire to be in the limelight, just producing good music.
Agree. So different to the others who cloy and grasp and grab for fame as if their lives depend on it. ABBA instead, are grounded.
The synergy of the two female voices is like a chemical reaction whose ingredients are known uniquely to Agnetha and Frida . No other pair of female singers can replicate this magic .

In November 1980 I was approaching my seventeenth birthday, upstairs in my parents house playing the Super Trouper album with my cat Sandy on my lap. I played it over and over, night after night after arriving home from my very first job. Downstairs my folks had to turn up the television in order to drown out my competitive vocals with Frida & Agnetha. Fast forward FORTY ONE YEARS and here I am with my cat Harold on my lap as I spin Voyage for the umpteenth time. It's as if time has stood still, but of course it hasn't, a whole lifetime of love, loss, joy and pain has ensued, four decades is a LONG time. Thank you to all of Abba for this enduring joy and satisfaction, life has gone full circle and you are still with me. This new record is euphoric, my heart sings yet again.

Abba have just cemented themselves as the greatest band of all time as to make this album at their age and deliver the goods is astonishing and as a fan from the 1970's to see these incredibly talented humble artists show the music world how it's done in 2021 is maybe the ONLY chance to regain my youth and also to know my love of this band has been warranted and well placed!
I have followed ABBA since before they got famous all over
the world. I have so many wonderful memories of their music. I danced to Dancing
Queen in a kibbuz near Tel Aviv, I cried when I myself sang “Fernando” in Los
Angeles, I played “The Winner Takes It All”, when I was left by a boyfriend,
etc. etc. Their music always helps my soul, my psyche. It is like ointment for
my nerves.
I remember seeing the couples in Stockholm many times. When
they went to the grocery store, to the cinema and so on. So down to earth, so
"normal", so humble, so gentle. The success has not changed them. It
is incredible, if you think about it. Still humble and down to earth.
I have seen the young generation embrace them just like I did in the mid-1970s.
What I also hear many young people of today say is: “Wow, this
is nothing like the “music” made today. ABBA is really making MUSIC”.
It is like their music has a healing impact on our so weary souls.
No other group that I am aware of can touch our feelings as
they do. Many says: “Oh, their music makes me cry, or their music really touch
my heart”. I have also heard: “Just when the world needed them most ABBA
returns”.
Yes, many people, old as young, get very emotional when hearing their music
and lyrics and Agneta and Annifrid`s unique voices and ability to convey the message.
Björn, Benny, Agnetha and Annifrid really touches our hearts.
I think, that if it is something we humans need today, is it to awaken our real,
deep emotions again. It is our emotions that make us human.
Their music and lyrics bring us joy and happiness, an uplifted state.
At the same time, they make us come into contact with our deep wounds
so that we can heal them. And with our melancholy.
I think that we cannot feel a real joy if we do not have contact with our opposite
feelings; ABBA knows that like a tree trunk that we erode with our sorrow and
pain, as big a hole that has become, just as much joy we can hold.
Thank you, ABBA: you make me so proud of being Swedish!

The voices of the two ladies continue to amaze me at this age. 😍
Spectacular album! It sounds like a natural progression from Visitors and Super Troupers, with the same impeccable quality and even greater introspection. There hasn't been an album in years by anyone that's been this strong in terms of melody, harmony, and songwriting. Only ABBA could've made this album. It's such a masterful and welcome coda to their career (though I'm still hoping for a one-off single or two in the future!).

I grow up with the ABBA songs in the seventies in Hungary... I have the original Hungarian edition of the Voules Vous album (PEPITA) from 1979 and I am happy for the new Voyage album. I can say only that never say never... Kind regards for all the ABBA members...!
