Excellent job! Thin Lizzy was one of the greatest rock bands, and this is my favorite tune by them. I'm a bass player, but I learned the rhythm parts to this song...after watching your video I'm going to attempt to learn the solos. What a lineup that band had, with one of the greatest front men ever. To this day I still miss them.
I grew up listening to my uncle's old Lizzy albums and this is my favorite solo of all time done brilliantly! Someday I hope to nail it like this!

Hey, KDA! Tonight I was with a friend (bassist) at a bar who didn't know this song (Brasil!), and we're going to a studio this Saturday just to mess around with some friends. I’m 69 and Kelly inspires me to start from scratch. I just don’t know where “scratch” is. 🤔 Do I start with scales? How do I know what key a song is in? And…what does that even mean to me?

A classic, Thin Lizzy have some great "guitar" songs. Black Rose Albums with Gary Moore on lead has some awesome tracks worth looking into.

Love your videos as I just discovered you tonight while I was trying to teach my 5 yr old son how to play guitar... we just finished watching your video on the top 10 sleepy songs... I started playing in 1979 after having the opportunity to strum Paul Stanley's Ibanez Iceman as it was temporarily fixing to go on public display at Strings and Things in Memphis ... I attended 2 back to back 79 Kiss Dynasty shows.. Jackson Mississippi and Memphis Tennessee as they were my first concerts when I was just 15... Love your tone Brother. 👍

this tuning is driving me crazy. its just a half step down right? i cant seem to match your tuning on this one.. any help appreciated.
Tablature shows tuned to E flat, so down a half step from Kelly. You can’t play chords effectively down a half step so you have to tune down to make it sound like the recording. Kelly doesn’t tune down.
