Josh I am 72yo. had a stroke, disabled, braindamaged, you are better for me than weed. I watch your videos rather than feel sorry for myself.
This made me smile. I've had family members that were effected by stroke and it can be terribly difficult to deal with. I can't imagine what it is you have to endure but I hope that you keep as positive as you can 👍 as corny as it sounds I do think that there is a purpose to be found in even the most crippling of tragedies. If you've made it this far, perhaps you can make it a little longer and find what that purpose is. No matter how big or small. Be safe 👍 and always talk about how you feel. Even to yourself, saying it out loud gives you a different perspective.

same here. vet with damage and ptsd. josh is one of my go-to's for lifting me up. laughter is proven to reduce pain and help with depression. this guy is a double dose for both. simply fantastic

This is the first time I've heard him actually cursing in a routine. I'm impressed that he can also do some of the same jokes without cursing when he needs to. That would be difficult.
right? ive seen 2 of his dry bar routines, and this is the first regular club ive heard. it does take still to trim it back for that audience, and he does it so smoothly. i cant tell a cadence change from this show to those other 2 shows. lots of skill there!

Yeah he does well at his shows. I've seen him 4 or 5 times and it's always been at max or just below. He should be getting more mainstream love but he's killing it at being a road comic.

His bit about the smoke detector was great. His joke construction is very polished. He established familiarity with his audience very smoothly to transition into the meat of his act. That being his disability which is obviously unfamiliar territory to most. Expertly done and very funny. The true genius of a comic is how they translate things to the audience in a way that is most effective. He made sure to tell easy jokes mixed with more nuanced jokes to pull the whole crowd along. Very well done.

He's right about the Purina dog food factory. I had a friend in college whose home was beautiful 3-story home gorgeous antique but half a mile from Purina and it was just like eating dog food that smell was so intense. And the wind really did blow toward her house nine days out of ten.

At 4:40 when he starts to talk about how the Native Americans point with their lips, he wasn't bullshitting! Hahaha And it's not just the Ojibwe tribe who does it, almost all tribes do it, man. I can verify that Josh is 100% correct with that one! Also, how he said he started doing it way too much, it does become a habit when non Natives hang around their friends who live on the reservations. (I am from the Pima tribe of Az & I can say he's telling the truth.) And lastly, he was on point when pronouncing "over there" as "ober der". Thank you Josh Blue for the great n' hilarious show!
