- I went to Kyoto and stayed in PIECE HOSTEL SANJO this time. The location of this hostel is perfect since it's close to Nishiki market and Kawaramachi station (a downtown Kyoto)
My room had a private bathroom but as far as I checked the shared bathrooms, I would be able to use it comfortably. They're very clean.

Anna; You really have a delightful way of writing your thoughts. I enjoyed the filming so much. The place has a really nice atmosphere, very calming and I like the privacy but also the social feeling of the rooms for cooking, relaxing and seeing a film. When you did get to the restaurant, I enjoyed that as well. The feet of the people waiting was humorous. I like a lot of what and how you film, providing history with the locations. Are you a full time You Tuber or do you magically fill your time with other things. I'm quite impressed that you give so much time and care in the production of each story you tell. This was a nicer Capsule hotel than in some videos, at least you had a good bit of headroom. It also had a shower, so that was great too. Makes me want to go to this place, sounds like my kind of room.

the station is the downtown and the Nishiki market is also a must visit place. So...the area is wide and it takes 5-7 mins...?

another great video i love kyoto beautiful place and lots of things to see and do historic and feels like city living and country living in one place on my list of places to go 2nd of course fist is the ghibi theme park hotel looks amazing very clean and spacious room looks great with own shower bed looks comfortable can you ask for extra pillows if you need them thats all you need is a bed and shower you will be out and exploring most of time also it a cheap hotel in centre of town the rooftop cinema is nice would be romantic to sit and watch with someone under a blanket food looked so good

I thought it was quite expensive for 5000yen but then I was shocked when you showed that it has an inside toilet and shower :o that makes it really cheap! Is it the same price if 2 people stay? I think the bed could fit for two average sized people.

Nice hotel and I believe where we go in Japan there’s always clean even with cheap hotel and I’m not that worry to pick a hotel.

I like the concept of a capsule hotel, but I'm worried about how comfortable I would be in those rooms, especially with the bed, given my height. Do you know the size of the bed?
this place should be okay but in a real capsule hotel, it's really small. Even me hit my head to the ceiling :/ This hotel has a normal room

That was a very nice hostel and I really liked the place which is in an ideal location. I did intend to stay at Kyoto for 1 night next Easter but I'll only come for a day trip instead from Tokyo. As for those right wingers with their black vans, I've had a run-in with them once at Yasukuni Shrine many years ago. They were parked outside the shrine blaring some patriotic songs and the people in the van gave me some very evil looks. I don't think they liked that I had gone to the shrine!!! I ignored them! Take care of yourself and have a great weekend.

- to keep the street clean (when you eat and finish it in front of the store, they will take the trash.)
- not to make any stains on someones clothes (anyway, you dont feel like eating in a crowded place)
