Hi! Here’s 4 tips ya may need for being better at goalkeeping.
1. Observation. Observation is always in use. You need to keep an eye to the players. They can sneak past you. Most importantly you will know where they are.
2. Instincts. Use you instincts so you can save penalties and close or long range shots. It’s one of the keys to goalkeeping.
3. Reflexes. Reflexes are really really important. Especially when your opponents get a corner and someone wins a header. Also in a 1v1 situation.
4. Fearlessness. Be fearless may improve your game. If it’s in the top bins or bottom bins you got to be fearless. You can make incredible saves out of it.

I’m a goalkeeper myself and if I had to rate Chris’s performance in goal for this video it’d be a 7.5/10, because his diving technique wasn’t the best and diving length wasn’t the furthest, he also didn’t really position himself well in goal and should have went in the middle, and I can clearly tell that ground shots are his weakness and he should’ve gotten to those close ground shots. But overall he did really good for a first time, and if you read this Chris, you should work on your low ground save capabilities, and position yourself more in the middle of the goal.
P.S Can you make a part 2 including more aspects of goalkeeping vs let’s just say another keeper like Toby, include 5 or 6 challenges and here are some ideas for them: Corners, 1 on 1 situations(here’s a tip to save those just run to them like Neuer, and spread your legs out to give them a minimum angle), penalties, long shots( out of the box), short shots( in the box) and review 2 different gloves( so you’ll have the mercurial touch elite, and Toby will have some adidas ones around the same price or something. If you make a video like this that would be really amazing and would be my dream if you could shout me out.!! Thx lad and keep on doing your great content, the Sunday leaugue series where you review clips is awesome but just overall you did good in this vid and love your content seeya mate!!

I mean he is an outfield player, but I do agree.
I’d say the biggest issue I had was him diving for shots which could be easily held if he shuffled over and moved his feet, while retaining his standing position. This would have put him in the easiest spot to make a good, solid save, while keeping him on his feet, ready for any rebound in case he can’t hold onto the shot for some reason.

Being a keeper myself, the reason you roll after those kinds of shots is to lose momentum quicker and to break your fall (This doesn't apply for catches). However I do agree that Chris may have made it a little bit too dramatic.

These Nike gloves are extremely bad because there isn't any latex rolling over the thumb so it's hard to catch, if you want great gloves buy Adidas, Uhlsport and Reusch.
