This is the 9th year in a row I’ve watched this legendary clip, it’s unforgettable. So ahead of its time, and so sophisticated. I just love this video, this is a group of proper skaters that properly understand what devotion to a sport is, sums up skating perfectly. Thx Red Bull for this piece of history

LOVE THIS SKATE FILM. If you search "skate" or "skateboarding" it's the first to come up and I have no problem with that. I could watch this everyday and just love it, It's so motivating. Good job legends on making such a mint skate film.
This movie was inspirational and lots of fun to watch! It's about overcoming challenges and not giving up when those challenges are kicking your butt. It also shows that having encouraging company is great! Good job guys!

This video is just so good it gives me shivers every time I watch it.
I agree its good to start young, I used to skate when I was 11, I hit my head pretty bad so I had to stop. I am now 23 and started last year, I run a skate park for kids and can only ollie and sometimes feel goofy compared to the younger kids but I love every second of it!

I can't physically street skate, i longboard, but i hope that the people in this video are proud to fulfill their reason, because i walked away from this video wanting to street skate. Very precisely thought out. Great video
It's not too late to try. Longboards are still capable of doing a lot of skateboard tricks...assuming your longboard has kicktails or lips of some sort. I've seen people tre flip on longboards down 6 sets. But if you feel cruising and downhilling is all you can manage, then cruise on, so as long as you're having fun.
Just practice in the dirt man, you would be surprised how quick you could learn to ollie and then kickflip, and you can't get real hurt. Then maybe you will take it to the concrete!

Kimbal Mackinnon fellow longboarder here, i skated for 2 years before i started on longboarding, but i realized that living in the middle of nowhere wasn't a place for skateboarding, so when i saw my friend with a longboard i knew that even though i couldn't skate on a skateboard i could still express myself in some sort of unique way. Even though i have heard that a lot of skateboarders hate longboarders i really don't give a fuck. we are all in the same boat even if it's bmxing, skateboarding, snowboarding, longboarding, motocross we are trying to express ourselves, get that rush from it what we do and having fun

What I learned from this video that in order to be good:
1. You gotta start young
2. You need to have a good back-story
3. You need to be gifted in skateboarding
4. You need to travel everywhere
5. Know how to grind/flip on or over EVERYTHING

you got it all wrong they all started with nasty styles and couldnt even ollie off a curb you bulid your background from your skating no one ever in there lifetime stepped on a board and had instant tricks it takes hard work a dedication, if your not going to commit and think about how far you got to go instead of how far you came then put the board down and go to college or any school cause only the simple minded people think about how far they got go.

I'm 14 and want to start skating so badly but I have to wait until May or Febuary next year bc the guy in the Skateshop told me and my mom[she's the one with the money...so eh yeah] that it doesn't rlly make sense to buy a skateboard in winter. I CAN'T WAIT ugh all I want to do is to start learning to skat. Fall on my butt when trying my first ollie and then to try again and again until I can do it and then try somethign newwwwww. c.c

I love skating, theres something so rewarding about getting back up fall after fall. It taught me to try again and again, failure after failure, because I only had tk get it right the first time once. But I think skating also taught me how to fall, to roll with it and accept that injury is life.
