Great video Hank. It’s so great to learn from you. Thanks for doing your homework! I like how they’re building so many Transits.
I’m so glad u got a factory tour that’s awesome thanks vandoit
💥KEY MOMENTS in Video Description. Thank you for watching, commenting & subscribing to our channel 🙏
I have a 2020 RWD LIV model and love it. I'm visiting their factory next week to look at possibly upgrading to a 2023 AWD model with a 2" lift. Great product!
I’ve been following these guys for a while…it’s really cool to finally see the factory 😁👍🏾
They are the best!!!!!
@@kschuler919 The best what?
@@GOLDVIOLINbowofdeath ?
Cool people, thanks for making and sharing the video
Whenever someone says “honestly”, red flags go off
Modularity is the way to go for Class B.
Awesome vid man. Will keep my eyes peeled for more vids
Thanks
Great video. I had looked at their site a few years ago, but I didn’t realize the degree of customization possible. Still camping in the little travel trailer but boy do I want a B! Definitely will look at these more carefully. Thanks Hank and Lola!
Video got better and better the more I saw. Sooooo many ideas if I ever get one. Lol
There’s a lot things I’d like to add to mine right now! 🤣 Thanks for watching Neko
I used to think it was just the headliner and side airbags in the rear of the Transit passenger or crew vans that screw-up using the 80/20 system but with this video I learned that all Transit vans unfortunately have a design flaw for conversion to RVs: the way the inner shell of the metal factory chassis juts way into the interior of the van where the side walls meet the roof/ceiling. That plus the fact the Transit roof starts sloping down in the front about two feet prematurely compared to Sprinters or Promasters really messes up having deep overhead storage to the point it is pretty useless. I always thought like others have said in comments it was because Vandoit wanted to keep the headliner or because of liability reasons for them if they remove the side airbags, but this made it clear it is Ford’s mistake. Thanks Hank for setting that straight.
Great video.
Wow! This place 👌🏼
I’m looking to getting a ford Transit Trail and Van Do it is the company I’m decided to go with to convert my van
Very cool
The problem with their “one size fits all” way of designing “modules” is for most people it wastes a lot of space. For example look at those electrical modules and all the empty space inside the “power tower” structure
thanks
Gotta Love Diatte taking the lead on this with HANK
It is pronounced 2 lee (toolee)
The options and thought process is truly inspiring to make a treck into this beautiful country
It’s funny, we’ve been looking at these for a while right?
@@strangerpalooza yes they seem very knowledgeable and some real enthusiast for years. The modularity of the vans speak to their ability to not only be intelligent about the sector but also that they have people that use them also.
Nice stuff. @18:10 Mom can go to HomeDepot too, right?
That was awesome! We have one on order, pickup in December. We were up there last September to trade in our class C but they were still in partial lockdown because of Covid. Really excited to get ours.
Ok that’s cool David…December is gonna be fun time for you guys 😁
So how long was the lead time?
😍😍😍
These van are so much better then anything on the market 🤩 WOW thanks
I might have missed it, but do they leave the side curtain airbags activate? Or do they remove them?
Since it’s so easy to “switch seats out for kitchen modules” why didn’t you have him do it on camera? Seriously from now on whenever somebody states how easy it is to swap something out in a van they designed say “go for it, we’ll wait”, unless they are compensating you.
Where can you gets the key of hydronic van bed from
Can you do an episode on adding a lift to the Ford AWD? Seems to me that an extra 3 inches would help a great deal.
Bathroom? It's a portable toilet in the middle of the van. No privacy. Younger buyers may simply move it outside the van (while camped).
