I fully agree about the interview questions. It's like they never attempted any type of research before interviewing the guys. How many times do we need to hear about RM learning english through "Friends" ? Or what's they're favorite american foods? Who they want to collaborate with? Will they do more songs in english? Ugh, the poor guys must be sick to death of being asked the same lame ass questions over and over. There have been some great interviews where the interviewer actually asked great questions and you can actually see the guys happy and excited to answer them. They need an OG ARMY to interview them!

@@amare9495 Yes! She did a great interview. Her questions had thought behind them and you could tell she was a fan. The guys were much more attentive and you could tell they were glad for original questions.

As a teen of the 80’s, Coca-Cola really ruled thee world! It was everywhere even overseas. Pepsi had been around too but did heavy marketing promotions to take that spot. It was shown a lot in the Black community because we were (still are) the largest consumer base. Pepsi also geared their marketing towards younger people. This is my opinion from things I remembered.
Also a teen in the 80's and I strictly only drink Pepsi cuz it tastes better to me. I don't hate coke, just prefer Pepsi

11:39 Some will probably disagree and say it's not that deep but: Western media desperately tries to find Western influences in BTS, or any none-White artist in general. The interviewers asking these questions most likely aren't asking them to get this validation consciously, but to continue asking this (as well as a few other ones, like "What's your favorite English word?", "Who do you want to collaborate with?" *expects BTS to name a Western artist*, or "What's your favorite American snack?") in every interview tells so much about Western journalism. You will rarely, if not never, get this from the press conferences or interviews BTS has in other industries. It's most likely just a difference in the media's culture (Western media is hilariously dependent on the relationships and drama between celebrities, while Korean media is more subdued and respectful to your face but lowkey malicious behind your back LOL).

Michael Jackson did a big promotion with Pepsi in the 80's. He help put them on the map. ( He also had a very famous accident while filming a commercial with them, where his hair caught on fire)The company then used young famous people in their marketing. It was a big deal back then.

To answer your Pepsi question In the 80’s and 90’s Pepsi did have a lot of sponsorship. Pepsi is a better cola than Coke unless you like the burning sensation Coke has. But coke is the number one Cola

The Pepsi thing blows my mind cause I'm from Georgia and I do love a diet Pepsi, but you literally go "I want a coke" and people go "What kind?" cause Coca-Cola is so synonymous with soda here, lol.
Well as a product designer i will give you my assumtions about pepsi. Coca cola made a bottled drink back in 1900s and changed the packaging game. Before that people only could drink from cups at places (coke) than later on pepsi made the bottled and canned coke arround that time and it was so popular at america because it was american brand so they tried to boosted the brand up to make people but pepsi rather than coca cola 😁 this is what i learn from school but the reason might be something else too im not sure

I was born in the 80’s during the 90’s I wasn’t also to drink Pepsi. Pepsi was more famous than Coke back then. When mid 90’s boybands was seen drinking Coke the popularity shifted to Coke.

OK my dear I happen to like a Pepsi every few months but if you check the ingredients compare to coke it has less salt an maybe a tad bit more of sugar no carbonated drinks are good for you but coke products with the cocola bean is truly acid enough to eat a screw or nail or anything so I prefer water lol
