    While refitting you need new grips and it is better to purchase new hose in market already crimped from both sides.

      @deafdave6468 Před 11 měsíci

      What are those grips called and what is the name of the tool needed to crimp the collars on properly?

    @lazer2365 Před 3 lety +3

    The clamps at either end of the hose can be replaced with worm-drive hose clamps, which fit on easily and tight.

    Were they called Hex Collars, the metal bits around the hose at both ends to keep it air tight? Is it called a Hex collar crimp tool to tighten them?

      Hello.. I use normal plier to press. But if still the air leak, you can try steel wire to twist it. More fit. Thank for watching my video

    I tried squeezing the clamp with regular pliers, but air was leaking out. I believe you need special hex tool to lock this type of clamp.

    • @johnyku3034
      @johnyku3034  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks for the comment, maybe your air nipple connector and air hose a bit loose, so you can put Teflon tape at the air nipple connector.

      @@johnyku3034 Thanks for the video. I ended up removing the old clamp completely and used steel wire instead of the clamp, i twisted it on two sides of the hose, and it worked really well.
