I'm not hating but the Title is completely misleading! This Man did NOT give away his money. He sold his businesses to live a simpler Life in South America. He walked away with millions and indicated in the video that he still owns properties but is not governed by material things. Yet, he's started a new online business and sells jars of medicinal creams for $55 each. I do envy him for finding his happiness in the Word and his Entrepreneurial Skills. More power to him.

I am a person who within the last 5 years I feel more peace of mind then I did in a long time A friend of mine used to always say to me I know what you need and I know what you want and she said I you want peace of mind and to have peace of mind is one of the best things that a person could have it's not that I don't have to think about money because I don't have it's not that I don't have to think about good health care because I don't have the best Healthcare I am a retired person and I'm retired because of my age and sometime as a person on Social Security we can get glasses we can get dental work and if you need a hearing aid you can get that so within my life I'm more piece a piece of mind then I have ever been but there's still things that I need it and if you don't have the money to get it you just live without it and sometime these things you really need so I'm glad that you got the peace of mind that you need but you still have monies to do things that's needed you don't have to worry about it because you still have money so that's what makes your mine at peace look you don't have to worry about the next meal or walking out in the street and being beat up arrived that's what's going on with the people in New York so I'm glad that you have peace of mind but there's still people that don't have it at all and those are the things that need to be fixed and that the things that people need is not a warrant and I don't think that's sometime people know what is a need we need water we need food we need a place to live and we need peace of mind if we possibly can get it so I'm very happy for you

I did experience being homeless and hungry and I know how it is not having even a roof, if I would have a chance to have a lot money I would choose to help others by giving them and helping them.
Wish I could have a van as well or a caravan, because I would love to live in it, but even for that you need money.

I really enjoyed listening to Mazzi. He's obviously deeply intelligent, he's found meaning in his life that makes him happy, but mostly what impressed me was how he avoided ever preaching to us. He was always careful to be modest in his wisdom and emphasize that this was his path that works for him, without telling me I need to live my life the same way... that's true genius.

Once you achieve material wealth then you ask yourself what your real purpose is. Happiness cannot be bought. A person's value isn't measured by his wealth but by who he is, and what he does for others and their well being. You are happy now because you are living an authentic life and you are your authentic self. You are not living to please your ego anymore and have superficial people around you, you have found happiness in the simplicity of life and have connected with nature and you have someone you love and are surrounded by modest people who like you for who you are, not what you have or what you can give them. You are helping others which in turn gives your life purpose , fulfillment and happiness. A lot of people aren't spiritually fulfilled in their lives but they are afraid to give up everything and lead the simple life that you are. I have found in my life that I was the happiest when I had less things and was around good people and helped others. I'm sure you are judged by many and looked down at for your lifestyle but you are doing much more to help other people then they ever will. You have gained my respect. It's love and compassion that lead you down this path and my prayers to your lovely wife .

This story is truly inspiring. It bugs me how people in these comments are saying that this story is bs or that he is trying to sell a story. Obviously he went through some stuff that he had to figure out which urged him to change. No one gives away a lifestyle where they had millions of dollars just to "sell a story". Loved his story. In 5 years I will have raised 10 children. I have never really done anything for just me. In 5 years I'm going to take off and travel tell I find that perfect spot for me to retire.
