Something some people don't know about two burners is there is only so much juice it can put out. If you put both on high they have to split the power between the two eyes. You have to manage it so you actually eat sometime that week. Two quart pan boils fast. Big spaghetti pot takes about a hundred years. LOL! Hope that helps.

You should cut a piece of 26-gauge sheetmetal for a back splash on the left of the hot plate, only reason I say that is I notice a large pan touches the wall there. Nice metal backsplash would just give you that peace of mind by covering a combustible wall. Love the Roadtrek bud!
Hello.It’s normally doesn’t sit there. Just for the video. But thank you. I’ve used it he hot plate inside and outside for a year now. Works great when Im plugged into shore power.

Has anyone used this hot plate with a portable power station like a Jackery or Bluetti? If so, what size power station did you use, and what were the results?

Electric appliance only. You could use a Jackery power station with AC plug in to power it.
Does the bottom get real hot on counter?
I haven’t noticed counter heat. The surrounding burner plate does. Which does have a warning label.

Hello. It gets hot like any other portable hot plate. Mainly top surface. The underneath portion seems to be normal. No counter issue. Ive used it inside and outside camping. Works great.
