I decided to make a track using some NES games from my retro collection. Here's footage of the results, a breakdown of each section from Mario's camera, and also a 2 player race with the Luigi Kart.

really shows you how much perspective can change things. real small camera, real close to the ground. cool stuff.
@@capt.raptor4650 It really does. The augmented reality stuff makes it seem a LOT more exciting as well, compared to seeing it with the other cam lol.

Yeah definitely, I’d like it for myself, but unfortunately my house is already too small for anything good, and about 90% of the flooring here is carpet, the only hard flooring is in the kitchen and bathrooms. lol
Oh well, settling with videos of other people’s custom courses will suffice!

Lat down some cardboard man. When I was a kid McDonald's would give out these little cars called Mini Streaks that were meant to slide across flat surfaces. I made all kinds of tracks from cardboard, and books.

Ok, this is really epic dude😂! Having the straight tracks like that made the boosts so much better. Also, it's awesome to be able to watch a 2 player mode, I haven't seen that yet. Also, that slow mode at 9:02 too 😂😂.

Seeing Mario Kart Live was one of those things where I was like, my house isn't good for this, but I know people are gonna make some bangin' tracks that are gonna be fun to watch. And look! A bangin' track that's fun to watch!
Honestly seeing you knock over the games just makes me want a destruction derby course where you knock over things as you race and having to evade the stuff on the track is how it gets harder as it goes on. I dunno what it is but seeing those little remote karts just knock over plastic game cartridges awoke something primal within me.

I gotta say this is an interesting concept on making tracks. So much simpler than spending four days modeling tracks on Distance 😎 I personally would like to see a music themed track on this, think that'll be pretty cool 🎼🎶🎵😎😎

Id love to see yoshi, peach, bowser, shy guy and donkey kong... Several others Id like to see but these guys I'd want the most...
I'm hoping they do a release of them down the line and they are just doing mario and luigi to start off and see how popular the game is to release the others...

This is awesome. I love how you outlined your track with computer games. This must of taken ages to build also i bet all the time you were building it, you were hoping a domino effect wouldn't happen, there is nothing worse when you do do play with domino;s and try and stang them in a long line that just as you get to the end they all fall down. The real obstacle for Mario is not a red shell anymore but a cat 's paw. Thank you for the smiles and epic videos.

I did that on purpose. When editing I messed up which track was muted and thought it looked hilarious with the real cam without the game audio. Cracked me up

What did the NES cartridge next to the chair do. You didn’t have to knock and crash it over and over. But that was hilarious as well. I just felt the feeling of that cartridge.

This is the best thing I've ever seen. it totally beats all the other Mario Kart games. I've yet to get the required stuff for this awesome game. it's the most futuristic technology I've ever seen in the history of gaming.
