How in the heck do Infinity Gauntlet and Simonson Thor not make this list!!!?? I thought they might be top 10.
I assumed the Mighty Thor volume on the list was Simonson. It wasn’t?
@@mitch-TO I watched the entire vid and didn’t see it lol maybe I missed it? The list seems to skew for a very young and modern comic audience, by the way.
@@CSionni yeah,it was a big list. I found a few on second-listen that I missed the first time.
I think it’s a pretty good list for the most part. I’m disappointed by the absence of The Flash by Johns or Waid (unless I missed those twice, lol), but pretty good overall.
@@mitch-TO when I made the list it was hard with The Flash by Johns as there's the original versions or the new reprinted version. I went with the new ones which none had scores or enough ratings to get on the list. Though in hindsight I could should have included Vol. 2 as it has 147 ratings for a score of 4.34 and then mention it's the original printing no the new expanded versions

I feel the same way about Sandman. Glad to see I have a majority of the great omni’s. I need to collect the daredevil(bendis, brubaker), and punisher runs. I need jsa 1, and green lantern 1, and 3, to complete the series. Great vid!
Good stuff, Marcus. I glanced ahead and was very concerned to see Tomb of Dracula Vol. 2 so high up, since I didn't really think it was all that special. Glad to know it was just an honorable mention, lol. I'm ashamed to say that I own most of these, and haven't read the entirety of most of them.

The silver age uncanny x-men run I do not own but I have borrowed it from my partner dad once. And it was so good, Chris Claremont was on fire.
Great video! I didn't agree on some of the order of the list but it was a fun video ! I have about 150 omnis and I was blown away on how many were on this list.. Great stuff!
Just finished Gotham Central and what an amazing book/well produced omnibus, also you should really reread Hawkeye!

Fun vid. Strictly omnis its 74 and 4 HMs, but I have OHCs and Absolutes of some of the others, so lot in the oversized format. How many have I read...errrr, not as many as I'd like have by now

Dang, no swamp thing
Just a quick thing about the Teen Titans Omnibus and why they changed them was volume 3 was missing issues they skipped half of A Lonely Place Of Dying which introduced Tim Drake because half of the issue were in Teen Titans and the other half in Batman so volume 3 only had parts 2 and 4 of it. A lot of people complained about it so they re-released the with much better mapping.
Judas Contract was in volume 3 which is one of my most wanted books.

I'm what one might call a minimalist in regard to owning omnibuses (I have only 50). Of that number, only 10 are on this list (not including Question and JSA Vol 3). And of the 10, I've only read Uncanny X-Men Vol 1, Daredevil by Frank Miller Vol 1, Fantastic Four Vol 2 and JSA Vol 2. Can't include Fantastic Four Vol 1, Uncanny X-Men Vol 2, ASM Vol 1 & 2 and Conan the Barbarian Vol 1 because I have these in Epic Collections.
This is an underrated comic book video.
I also didn’t like Hawkeye when it first came out because I didn’t understand what Fraction was trying to do.
I read it again a few years later after someone explained to me why it was so good, and I loved it. I just wasn’t ready for it the first time.
I find that happens to me a lot. I need to be in the right head space for a book.
There have been many times I’ve read a book years after it came out and have been glad I didn’t read it sooner because it wouldn’t have had the same impact when I was younger.

Bro you’re missing out having not finished that Uncanny X-Force by Rick Remender. It’s hands down the top 5 best X title. My personal favorite if I’m honest. Such a brilliant conclusion.

Ultimate X-men and red hood and the outlaws. I never hear much about them. And those characters are fascinating. I know new 52 and ultimate universe are your Jam lol. So I trust your judgment on why they should be read. Hope to see your thoughts soon.
You’re definitely in the minority, Darth Vader by Soule is significantly better than the Aaron stuff and is probably considered the best marvel Star Wars run to date
People can like what they like 🤷♂️ rather be in a minority than an echo chamber, they both solid runs at the end of the day

my entire collection will probably be about 40 omnibus max.
I guess the lowest score I’ve done for my collection is a 5/10’s for Astonishing X-men, JLA Morrison and Annihilation I found them mid didn’t really enjoy them to be honest.
What didn’t you like about Morrison’s JLA? Only thing I didn’t really care for was the DC 1,000,000 event. I thought everything else Morrison did for JLA was great tho
