Duke Nukem was the GTA of it’s time. It was “The game” that parents didn’t want their kids to play in the late 90’s. If you owned it, and you were between ages 10-15, it was a flex. 💪
i had this game when i was like 8 lol
After more than 25 years since my last gaming session with this game I still remember where hidden places are, and the location of certain enemies.
Same
same

same here. 25 and still remember ❤☢️💣💥🔥
I don't remember the red room.
Wow. I used to watch my older brother play this game back in the 90s. It's so surreal to watch this. So much of this game was buried deep in my memory until now.
Laid the foundation of Counter Strike and half life
Fucking same
I let my 5 year old brother play with me and got in a little trouble when he was going around talking about killing "alien bastards." I still hear about that to this day.
Same with my dad
@@ObscureStuff420 : 😆
In one minute, you made all the progress that costed me weeks back then.
Jajajaja the same
SO TRUE
This game still looks good, my childhood revisted
A real blast from the past, it was about 23 years ago I played this game on my pc back then, as I remember the cheat code was "dn stuff" or something like that to get all the guns and weapons with full ammo. At the time I thought going to school was crap but looking back it was a simpler and happier time really. Wow, 23 years ago. That's passed quickly
23 years later, going to school WAS crap. 1% of it is useful in real life, rest is useless information and waste of time. And no, I am not a loser, I am doing very well today, earning good money in various technical areas - and I would have done so sooner without wasting my time on public education.
Ah, yeah, and Duke is the sh*t :)
DNSTUFF
DNKROZ
Modos Dios y todas las armas
Yes, we were kind of the nihilist "Generation X", were we thought everything sucked, whereas in reality, it was the best time of our lives :)
Don’t Forget DN Cashman where you can endless cash at the strip club
When life was more simple. This game was exceptional
You right time flies so fast 😭
this is one of my childhood pc games
Childhood?!That's wild.
I didn't have a pic in my childhood
@@fadhilahzaidan4946 Ikr?
This and Wolfenstein 3D - lots of time dumped into both, no regrets.
@@briangiller5253 Please don't spurn Quake🙏
it's been about 25 years since i last time play this game and i remeber every single location from this first part, all hidden places and where enemy aliens were located. This is incredible how this game has left a mark in my memory.
I love this music so much in this level. Its a really good way to kick off the game. Perfect music to reveal the chaos that ensues in this universe
It kind of reminds me of Head like a Hole
This is why I love CZcams
To remind you can still play it ?Somehow you can
4:27 That joke still gets me.
... not 'come get some' ...
Wow! I used to play that game a lot but I never found all the secret spots in this video. Not even half of them lol
Oh yeah, a dark room and hours of Duke.
The end scene where Duke rips the head off a monster and shits down his neck while reading a newspaper and whistling the Duke Nukem jingle. "Oh Duke!" lol
I still remember sitting next to my childhood friend at his place watching him play this game and make comments as he played that made me roll on the floor laughing 😁
Nostalgia hits my face so hard ❤😭
And my chest
I don't know how I tought '' damn, I want to see some DUKE NUKEM 3D'' today. :P But here I am, on my trip into nostalgia land :)
Same.
Damn, I remember playing this on the computer when it had windows 95 on it lol
This brought back so many memories, the good times 😢
Absolutely phenomenally well designed level.
To be honest, I still believe, that this first level was kinda tech-demo, showing a lot stuff, that Doom couldnt do: Slopes, teleporting, mirrors, jetpack, room-over-room, light-switches, blowing holes into walls, burning fire, water-fountains to drink from, walls that crack up from alone, closing curtins, exploding stuff to shoot at, steroids, simple doors, double doors, elevators, cameras and camera-screens, sprite-bridge to blow away.... all in one map. Plus holding the weapons different than in Doom. It was clearly made for shareware-versions to impress potential buyers. Holo-Duke I almost forgot.
Oh, and moving lights of course. Jumping out of a jet was cool too in the beginning. Even blowing up the C9 on the rooftop was a first mindblowing experience. Jumping into the vent was the perfect illusion.
Vaya que me trajo de regreso más de 20 años. Gracias por subirlo
Well I'll be damned! I could had done with this knowledge a few years back lol 😆
Me too. But 20 years back when I played it daily
this oldyh game is stil better then the newest games!!
I did this level a few thousand times probably..
My first pc game on my old pos Packard Bell setup 😆 So cool seeing this again, its been a minute
" Damn, those alien bastards are going to pay for shooting up my ride." 😂😂
Good old days..
Big facts
Back when there was no internet... and no site or youtuber will tell you where the hidden spots were... you had to discover them by yourself, and it was pure joy when you discovered something new that none of your friends knew about.
Makes me want to cry due to the nostalgia 😢
Wow nice! Played this a lot! Nice to see
not a single dull moment with all the animations
lol the alien poopin
this is like 10x beter than doom 1
Back when every pc could run every game, no graphics card needed.
I remember playing this banger game on my 360, nostalgic
I wonder if Duke Nukem knows the Doom man.
If you played that game, you would know.

@Tjokkaflens I got access to cyber cafes during that time, as I got admissions in high school and stayed at hostel.
Evergreen games of epic gore and adventures
"pig nuts roasting, as I open fire..."
I just time traveled. Memories of childhood.
nice run
Before speedrunning was really a "thing," my older brother decided to see how fast he could get through this level. I think his record was about 47 seconds, though I'm sure it's possible to go much faster. XD
So way ahead of its time
love the game sound and sountrack
Woha my fav games in late 90es
🙏🏼 thank you for uploading this ❤
You wanna dance?
daje ... come get some !
I want remake.
Every time I play this game... I keep laughing my ass off that the part where the monster is seen taking a dump (also seen on the Tiberius Station and the Lunar Reactor levels).
Good times!😅
Call me old school but that glock pistol was gangster af. Loved putting holes in all those pigs!
this franchise is every middle school boy's fantasy and I love it ^^
and I normally hate anything involving middle schoolers
Groovy
Totally remember this game! Gain 10 HP back from urinating in the toilet lol. They need to make a film already.

This was way ahead of it's time
Duke Nukem's voice is so iconic to me, that I thought I had heard his voice in Gotham Nights, when my boyfriend was playing it
I asked him if that was Duke Nukem's voice, and he looked utterly bewildered
He didn't know there were Duke Nukem games this old 😵
Hes 25, a major gamer. I'm 23, uncultured swine via. Movies and games
I got a message for your boyfriend:
Marry Her!!!
Hopefully The Dukester makes a return ... I love the smell of bacon
We use to play this at lunch at work on a LAN link. Great times firing rockets at each other!
Cool
The best game, ever!
SO.....MANY.....MEMORIES.....
If they brought this to modern consoles as a physical edition with a cool statue, then I'd be over the moon.
First experience of adrenalin on a PC. Seem to remember getting on a subway train at some point
Sure
At the part where you kill the enemy and the door to the cinema is supposed to open. Mine doesn’t :/
Damn does this bring back memories.
Finally, a real game.

Sounds recall in my mind before the exact action.
This is literally burned into my subconscious I can actually visualise it as solid and real
"Got my PB Crisps and fruitopia ...time for a few hours of duke nukem" - Me, an 8 year old girl🙎♀️
This game feels like it'd be in the same universe as the original doom.😊❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊❤❤❤❤❤
Amo este juego tengo 37años y me dan ganas de volver a jugar 2023
Just realized I missed two or three secrets for years
I appreciate you capturing all the hiden locations before finishing... things like this could be forgotten as our generation passes on.. :|
