I'm no Canterbury supporter, but I always admired their 95' Finals Series. They played hard tough football like their 80's teams.
Also winning against the teams who beat them during the year.
You are a legend Bulldogs Dynasty
Thank you for these gems
ghi34 thanks :)
I was at this match... Actually I as at the 66-4 Dogs v Cowboys match at Belmore, the Dragons classic, 24-10 over Brisbane, this one and the GF. What a run that was! A superb team in great form! Were 12-1 after the Broncos match still from memory but won their last 3 matches against great opposition all by 13+
Beat St George by 4, Brisbane by 14, Canberra by 19 and Manly by 13
They were lucky against St George though, rotten decision by ref that favoured the Dogs. Then there was arguably the worst refereeing display ever in the GF, 3 tries by the dogs should been disallowed, they scored a legitimate try and that was disallowed. Manly were well below their best on the day, and probably didn't deserve to win, but the ref didn't help.
@@cameronhesketh6814 2 of the 3 tries should've been disallowed, not all of them. Rod Silva's try at the end was legit and fair. Ryan's try should have been awarded. Regardless of that, Manly couldn't breach the Bulldogs brick wall defense and didn't deserve to win.
Also that first try not only does Terry Lamb deserve the praise for finishing it but also for the beautiful pass to Polla-Mounta which let him dart through the defence in the first place
28:52 is the precise moment I knew in 1995 the bulldogs were going to win the grand final without any doubt
We underestimated the dogs that day, and we paid a price
#redemption for the '94 GF loss,no one backed them through the whole finals series.🏆🏉🏉🏉

Hey BulldogDynasty, thankyoufor the uploads, these games are fantastic! Do you have any full games from the late 90s and early 00s you could potentially upload?
I generally don't like to venture into the NRL era
All good, no problems, if you can it would be great, if you can't, all good aswell. Keep up the great work!
@@michaelmagnussen9823 the issue is the NRL and licensing
the Grand final qualifier
Balmain supporter here and I hated Raiders since 89.. so this game I was cheering the hell out of the dogs after they disappointed me in 94 GF
i have this on vhs loll
Baa best club player I have seen baa none
Why did the badge on the jersey still say "Canterbury Bankstown" when they were known as Sydney
The Bulldogs never changed their official club name or logo in 1995. They only went by Sydney Bulldogs for commercial reasons but officially kept everything as CB.
I think the name change had more to do with the defunct Superleague competition.
It was a way Canterbury showed their support for the Superleague and were one of the first teams to enter that competition. They even went so far as to changing their jerseys.
There were other teams that did the same, it was a real mess and supporters were leaving the League in droves this was one of the reasons how Soccer suddenly became popular in NSW and Qld.
People have forgotten Murdock and Packer fought over the League where Packer eventually prevailed but not before doing enormous damage to the sport which was to change the sport for ever.
Great forward pack .......So funny Daily ... Fuk Ups
