I was a teenager when it happened but up till today, I always cry because of the horror, torture, that happened there. Allah will surely judge. It is so very sad.may Allah forgive those that were brutally murdered and may He heal those that survived. And may Allah ease all hardship to those that are suffering all over the world. Küçük bir çocukken sınıfta Ya Nabi Salam Alayka'yi dinlerdik. Ortaokulu her düşündüğümde aklıma o ilahi gelir. Maher Zain'i de öyle tanımıştım. Ne kadar da evrensel biri diye düşünmüştüm o zamanlar. Ve şimdi bu şarkısı çıktı karşıma... Yıllar geçmiş. Ama o soykırım, o katliam... Hala sızlatıyor ciğerimi. Düşündükçe boğazıma yumrular oturuyor. Hayır, o zamanlar yaşamıyordum belki ama okuyorum, izliyorum. Anlayamam tam manasıyla belki fakat ne kadar bilinebilirse artık biliyorum o vahşeti. O Mavi Kelebekler olmasa... Belki de... Düşünmek bile istemiyorum. Yaşananlar insanlığa sığmayan şeylerdi! Ama kabullenmesini bilmediler. Ağzıma geleni söylemek istiyorum ve faillerine kin besliyorum!

I am from Indonesia and my grandfather was sent by our president to be assigned to Bosnia and Herzegovina to help the people of Bosnia-Herzegovina who were being oppressed at that time.. and my grandfather did not come home until the situation there was good. In the name of religion, in the name of brothers, in the name of humanity. My grandfather and our president immediately went there when this conflict occurred.. my grandfather told me a lot about this genocide.. i'm not bosnian but i cried when i heard it. My grandfather left with only a cap and a thick jacket..my grandfather knew that the UN plane on which our president was traveling was being targeted by the terrorists, they were grateful that they could land safely at the airport and was immediately greeted by the Bosnian leader. The Istiqlal Mosque in Sarajevo witnessed the reaction of the Indonesian people to our brothers in Bosnia. This mosque is a witness to independence from the invaders.

On August 6, 1945, during World War II (1939-45), an American B-29 bomber dropped the world’s first deployed atomic bomb over the Japanese city of Hiroshima. The explosion immediately killed an estimated 80,000 people; tens of thousands more would later die of radiation exposure. Three days later, a second B-29 dropped another A-bomb on Nagasaki, killing an estimated 40,000 people. Japan’s Emperor Hirohito announced his country’s unconditional surrender in World War II in a radio address on August 15, citing the devastating power of “a new and most cruel bomb.”
