For real, it would be a slight update that doesn't take away from the vanilla feel of MC (which really matters to a lot of people for some reason) but for the builders here would be the greatest update. Vertical slabs would make so many builds look better.
@@kaleycooper9111Actually, the last update for Decocraft was about 3 months ago. It supports up to 1.18.2. The mod seems to have changed a lot since I played it back in 1.7.10 tho lol
Since these are for Forge, here's some similar ones which work on Quilt and Fabric! Bits & Chisels - Pretty much exactly the same as Chisels & Bits Charm - A vanilla-like mod, very similar to quark, which adds a lot of small things. Supplimentaries is another option Aurora's Decorations - A furniture mod which, in my opinion, is your best bet for Fabric & Quilt modding. It even focuses on mod compatability, so if a mod you have adds new wood or stone variants, the furniture will come in those variants too!
macaws furniture glitches in some versions.. can’t figure out why but I call them cursed chairs bc they tp me to a cave everytime i click shift to get off it xD still a beautiful mod tho!!
I always preffered Little Tiles over Chisels and Bits, as it allowed the blocks to be even smaller than just a 16th of a block, besides, Chisels and Bits lags very much. But i recently found a copy of it, called Bits and Chisels, which aims to fix that issue. And it does - i haven’t encountered a crash or any lag ever since i switched to that mod.
A great texture pack for building if your unsure about using mods is “better vanilla building” if you have optifine with it then you can get blocks to mesh together!
Paladin's Furniture (what it sounds like) and Every Compat (if you have modded wood varieties, it applies those textures to various other items -- like beds in Paladin's) are some of my faves as well.
YES, thank you so much. These are the mods that I have always wanted to use because I grew up watching CZcamsrs use these and now I finally have the names of these mods so thank you!!
While not considered mainly as a decoration mod, Create adds a bunch of decoration blocks that have the vanilla color and texture style. They work so well with vanilla blocks to make easy to use but beautiful palettes. My main problem with mods like chipped that add insane amounts of block variants is that most of them don't really fit in with the game because of their color shades and textures.
Dont forget chiseled, legit giving thousands of variations for each and every block, and dont forget about addons that let blocks from other mods get chiseled too. It really deserves the attention.
You in your beautiful mansion with every mod active: "What do you think then?" Your friend who joined without a single one on: "Ew. Why are you proud of this?" It's legit a wood block."
I've always wanted some furniture in the game but didn't quite know how to utilize it. So far the only furniture are beds really, and they do a lot for you. Maybe other furniture can have some positive effect? Like, for chairs, you sit in them to get some rest right? What if sitting in a chair while eating food improves that foods saturation? Or adds an extra half a heart or something, something small but meaningful to make you sit down and eat.
Yesss I’ve always wondered why they don’t let you make stairs and slabs from terracotta!! One of my favorite building materials because it’s pretty and harder for creepers to blow up 😅
Don't forget, quark also gives you a simple way of placing blocks both on the edge of and immediately below the block you're standing on, which is a super game changer in survival so you don't have to do as much pointless scaffolding!
Little tiles is now getting updates again and is far better. Sadly can only be used on embedium for shaders and some mods like season mods crash it. Its not perfect but its better because of what it offers like custom doors that actually open and close. Custom chests with the same functionality. Ect.
I personaly love the aesthetic and feel of building in vanilla Minecraft. The shifting through the creative menu trying to find the perfect color combinations with the limited blocks. The trying to use weird random blocks to simulate more organic and complex shapes. The spending WISHING THE CRAB WON THE MOB VOTE.
I see the frame mod in "create" so i think it's not that special, but create in this scenario has more freedom, vertical stairs, trapdoors, slopes and so much more, so i'd recomend create, btw create also has al kinds of contraptions
You should try LittleTiles (forge only) with Chisels and Bits, you can make custom couches, doors, beds, etc with it, and you can even do the building with Chisels and Bits, then import the C&B build to LittleTiles
I made a small mars base model using chisel before. I think it was chisel. I could be wrong. It was a mod that had like different shape and size variation of pretty much all blocks. Pillars, ones with holes through them, idr what all. Was fun to make a model though
Personally I only use Macaw's doors because the placement for any furniture that's 2 blocks wide or tall is weird. I just use other furniture mods like MrCrayFish's Furniture Mod
there is something called donum ornatenum(or something like that) it is amazing and it has so much custimazation and possiblities for building(sorry for bad english, its my 3rd languague)
I'm digging through my brain trying to remember a mod similar to chisels and bits that had these template blocks which allowed you to make custom functional blocks with the bits like doors, chests, and beds, it was such a cool mod and I can't remember it anymore 😭
I will never forgive mojang for not giving us vertical slabs
For real, it would be a slight update that doesn't take away from the vanilla feel of MC (which really matters to a lot of people for some reason) but for the builders here would be the greatest update. Vertical slabs would make so many builds look better.
And they have teased us multiple times with them! At this point they'll rather watch the game die than to just give us what we want
They are already in the game
the game isn’t gonna die over vertical slabs loll
@@catharsis9789not over them exactly it’s more about the principle of the vertical slab. They never listen to what the community actually wants
This is awesome! I’ve always wanted to build with mods but I never now which ones to try so this is quite helpful, thank you!
I would love to see screenshots pf those builds!
@@mochamikadorylovesrandomne6020same!!
What app to use for the mod? And what Minecraft point is it?
I’ll forever be sad that the creators of Decocraft never updated the mod. Definitely the best furniture mod I’ve ever experienced

Bits & chisels and chisels & bits are different????
I tried Bits & Chisels once, it had something weird with like, adhesives and blueprints and it just felt way too complicated compared to the original

real ones remember when framedblocks was called carpenter's mod
I WAS ABOUT TO COMMENT THAT LMAO
I was gonna say...
Carpenter's Blocks definitely the OG
YES
Back in the 1.12 days
Some other nice options!
- Twigs
- Another Furniture
-Handcrafted
-Chipped
-All of Farmer's Delight (very underrated for decoration!)
thank you! i used a couple of those in my personal modpack and loved them :D
Furnish
Crayfish
I liked that Bo Burnham build you included.
does this mean its bad or good??

Paladin's Furniture (what it sounds like) and Every Compat (if you have modded wood varieties, it applies those textures to various other items -- like beds in Paladin's) are some of my faves as well.
My favorite too but they are not updated to 1.20 im waiting since 5 months
Framed blocked reminds me a lot of the Carpenter mod! These are such good mod recommendations.👍🏻
I feel like the carpenter mod is the predecessor to the frame blocks
Understandable, it is at least a spiritual successor after all.
I wish i can experience this without having to go through painful process and ended up no progress
"For your cozy cottage or evil vampire lair"
She really called us out
YES, thank you so much. These are the mods that I have always wanted to use because I grew up watching CZcamsrs use these and now I finally have the names of these mods so thank you!!
Also the chipped mod. It adds loads of new variations of tons of different blocks. Perfect for texturing.
hey what kind of Minecraft is this?I've been searching but I can't finde this exactly Minecraft on my gp, or is this just for apple?

Chipped is another essential for me, it adds countless decorative variations of nearly every existing block in the game!
this gotta be my fav episode of helluva boss
found this on the playlist aswell

Create! Yea it’s technically a “technical” mod, but working windmills, water wheels, pulleys, etc just add so much spice to any build
One i love so much is Another Furniture, Cozy Home and Handcrafted, but sadly the last one has some pretty bad bugs and optimizing problems
Bro is just turning the game into teardown.
Dont forget chiseled, legit giving thousands of variations for each and every block, and dont forget about addons that let blocks from other mods get chiseled too. It really deserves the attention.

The fantasy furnishing mod is a godsend, thank you!
