I remember my parents thinking that Phil was going to push Lisa off the clip.

It's strange watching this from 2003. Phil didn't have neither of his children, Ben or Louise, back then but fast forward to 2017, Ben is living with Jay in Albert Square and Louise is living with Phil and Sharon. Phil always said that he would get his children back.

Phil broke Lisa...literally broke her and this is why she is the person she is now and that is why Lucy Benjamin has been absolutely brilliant in the EE episodes which have aired recently. Hopefully Phil (Steve McFadden) will now step and put Lisa back together again and put her onto the road to a full recovery...he has a lot of wrongs to put right.

This episode was actually broadcast during the last week of March 2003 which highlighted the climax of this emotionally explosive storyline from Monday the 24th of March 2003 right up until Friday the 28th of March 2003.. Being an avid fanatic of EastEnders since Tuesday the 19th of February 1985 I should know because I watched it being broadcast at the time and remember it very well having taped many episodes of EastEnders during that time period as well as before that time period including after that particular time period as well too on my VHS tape recorder. It was the same year “Dirty Den” made a surprise comeback to EastEnders for 2003 after fourteen years of not appearing on the soap being presumed dead from 1989. My mum always said she believed Den’s character was still alive and she reckoned they’d bring him back one day…. She was right!!

Phil planted drugs in the club when Beppe was running it, and called the police on him. He pulled the same trick on Dirty Den when he was running the same club. But I know what you mean, that he wouldn't call them in the legitimate way, to ask for their help.

Radojka Trivic Lemme get this right - Lisa had Phil's baby Louise, she grew tired of his behaviour, shot him and fled to Portugal. Phil tracked her down, punched her then snatched Louise and brought her back to the UK, only for Lisa to then escape with Louise with the help of Dirty Den himself. Jack tracked Louise down only for Phil to realise she'd be better off with Lisa, then a few years later, Louise returned by herself and stayed at the Vic because she thought Lisa had abandoned her, only to realise what a violent bully her daddy was and grandmother Peggy returned her to Lisa causing Phil to turn to coke and alcohol.
And they say life can be dull? Not for the Mitchells! :)

It seems to me that she shot him and tried to deny him his daughter, so he got revenge by gaslighting her
But she only shot him out of revenge for his sadistic behaviour towards her. She also denied him access to his daughter and then kidnapped her because Phil is not a good father and tried to push Lisa out of Louise life.
Spin it however you want, Phil is still always gonna be the bad guy.
