Maybe CFL? They will start their season this Thursday. Established league, 21 weeks of the regular season, 9 established teams. Just a great example of a small-sized professional league.

I'm glad UFL exists. It'll be nice when they expand to more teams. I think 16 would be ideal. Maybe they could even have an arrangement with the NFL where each team has an affiliation with 2 NFL teams (like one NFC, one AFC) through which those teams can call up players, or even send NFL players down that need a little more field time.
I honestly think that would be ideal. Kind of treat it like the minor leagues that baseball has?

This. I would love to see a farm league where prospects can develop. Maybe you have sister teams in the NFL that split a UFL team. For instance, you have the Packers and the Bills split the Michigan Panthers or something like that.

As an Eagles fan, I can simply tell you that Renegades were seeing the Commanders while the Defenders were seeing the Cowboys. This should've gone into Overtime. What a hard fought battle

DC always had decent crowd, be that XFL or UFL.
This is the best game so far the way each fought back love it Renegades made those adjustments to stop the run when needed great job both teams great pride great team effort all-round just love the battle GREAT GAME
The UFL needs to start the season in April and end season late July with the championship game
the last game should end on July 4th
They want to be done in time for people to get training camp invites.

The reporter participating in the Beer Snake assembly was probably the most useful a sideline reporter has ever been.
ESPN is already bad at covering sports, but these people in particular need to shut the hell up about the NFL, and betting. Anyone watching this game as their first UFL experience probably thinks the UFL is an exhibition league so the players can put together film reels for the NFL. They will never build the UFL into a viable league as long as everyone keeps treating it like that.
ESPN also needs to stop covering part of the screen with stats no one cares about during a football game.
UFL is a "developmental" league for the players that are not good enough for NFL with some NFL veterans who are helping them developing their game. Some players are going to CFL, some players are going to NFL... UFL knows their role.

They both had 8 teams so 16 in total. They merged together and only kept 4 teams each, so 8 total in the UFL because they haven't pulled any profit so paying for 16 teams is a lot of money when they're not making any money, they're only losing money at this point. If successful they'll lose money for maybe 5 years before they start pulling profit. If they're lucky they'll only lose money for about 3 years or so.

What happened here 22:50? Can someone explain, still learning the game.
The player brought the ball to his own end zone for a safety touch. The ball never reached end zone on the kick as it bounced away from the end zone and stopped on about 1 yard line.
Taking away that two-point conv. was some ticky-tacky bs. Overthought interpretation is taking over.
In a game where 2 points makes a difference, no less.

He contacted the ball in the field of play, then moved it into the end zone. Had it rolled into the end zone and then he picked it up and downed it that would have been a touch back.
The ball never reached end zone, so the player was the one who brought the ball to his own end zone. It's a safety.

XFL conference is the best. They're all at least decent. Arlington would be really good if their secondary wasn't full of shrimps. Those boys can't tackle, and it cost them like 4 or 5 games

no in the NFL and NCAA if you are in the end zone and grab it outside 1 yd it is a touchback no different than being out of bounds and fielding the ball to get a touchback
When he touched it he had possession at that point. He wasn't downed and brought the ball back across the goal line so safety.
I think he just didn't know the rules of his own league. He watches nfl and ncaa and thinks that applies to every league.

I saw some weird plays in CFL on the kickoffs, but not that stupid for sure.
PS. That play didn't end with Renegades losing. There was a play on a kickoff last season in CFL that ended in the team losing because of that play.
